Wow, that video is so sad. She’s not with it at all, and those teeth. Definitely lack of self care / hygiene to blame. They don’t get like that overnight.

Depends on what type of bite you have. I can only have a permanent retainer fixed to my bottom teeth not the top. The top ones I have to wear a nightly retainer forever. I think she’s just stopped using hers several years ago and now she’d need to start again. Saying that, her teeth are the least of her concerns at the moment aren’t they
