Is he for real, they never stop eating, in, out, takeaway. Say anything for a freebie.

Brian and Arthur have put on savage weight recently which I know is totally their own business. But Brian looks very strange, can’t put my finger if it’s the bloated face or the fillers or the bad hair….
They’ll flog that salad company on IG and stuff their gobs with a chipper dinner behind the camera! 😂😂

Walked passed Brian in Dundrum yesterday and first thing I noticed was his face too, something totally off, he looked bloated in the face and full of filler, just not like himself

I feel sad for the sister if I’m being honest …. I know that it’s a lovely selfless thing she is doing . But it’s for her brother who she will be seeing so much after the baby is born and I nearly feel like it’s a naive decision she and they have made in terms of the post partum period .

usually with surrogacy the baby is born and handed straight to the new parents never to see he again with this baby it will be handed to the new parents but the mother who birthed the baby is still around and the baby will know the mothers smell and voice etc and whenever Aoife will see the baby it will more than likely be attached to her in the early weeks and it sounds like it would be alot to take in mentally and physically even with your natural milk supply.

i would worry about how that would effect her mentally post partum and i Almost think Brian and Arthur will be obvious. Sure even know asking her how she’s feeling and what her cravings are and she says a few he questions and it’s immediately well from tomorrow you won’t be eating that! I know it’s a joke to him probably but it’s all insensitive

Yes to all this. He doesn't even make sense. He says to her cravings "Well from tomorrow you won't be having any of that!". Why exactly??

They explained it on the podcast with Amy Huberman they used a donor egg so technically baby isn’t hers
The mother and father go on birth certificate and other person can look for guardianship in 2 years. they looked at different options in America before they came home then here as they wanted to adopt but it wasn’t option here for them
Amazing thing for her to do for her brother and his partner

Does this mean Arthur is the biological father then? He and Aoife will be down as the parents because Aoife and Brian (sister and brother) clearly couldn’t be?

It's not aoifes egg, she's carrying it.
They know who the biological father is but they aren't sharing that information as they are both the child's father.

No matter how much of a dose the two of them can be I would never begrudge anyone the right to have a family. Listening to their story and the hardship they had to even get this far just because they are a same sex couple.

Whatever you think about them it's great they are showing how hard things can be

I know…. Like is it because he said so and he feels it’s not good enough for his baby or what! He has no say in any of her cravings ! He’s awful arrogant

I feel for Aoife Brian seems to be really annoying her with all the bump rubbing and updates. Like it's a lot.

It will be so so difficult to hand that baby over no matter what they all think. Like what if Brian is jealous that the baby just settles with Aoife etc of God I don't envy them.

Just hope Aoife is OK afterwards.

Plus she's only 32 he said today that she doesn't know if she will have kids she's 32 as if she was ancient

Louise McSharry has a podcast called The Catch Up and in episode 3 or 4 she speaks to 2 sisters. One was the others surrogate. The baby was born around the beginning of covid.

A lot of you here seem to think theres no way on earth Aoife wont regret this and so on. A listen of this podcast might change your mind

Their were two women on the Tommy tiernan show last year telling their story of surrogacy, and they were best friends. I though it was a lovely story that one friend was surrogate for the other, it all worked at well but I remember thinking what a selfless thing to do for someone, especially a very close friend.
