It does, it's a primal instinct for a child to need at least a mother whether anyone happens to like it or not. Mothers/Women are the ones that teach very young children right from wrong. Again that is primal. Fathers/men tend to get involved with children when they are older children (if at all).
No one can mess with or argue against nature. They let her act like a brat because they are men. Men just don't have affinity with small children. They just think it is funny.

Also it is because of Arthur's Armenian culture that he thought he had to be a father. Traditional cultures don't allow people to choose not to be parents. Neither Arthur or Brian are suited to be parents/a father.

My husband had a bond with our 3 children from the day they were born. He teaches them right from wrong daily. Most fathers that I know within my generation are the exact same and do an equal amount of parenting as us mothers. To me this view that father’s don’t do any parenting is extremely old fashioned and doesn’t do fathers or mothers any favours.

Absolutely.

And one or other of them needs to step up because all they are doing now is teaching her to be bratty and making her life much harder in the long run. She will be the kid at school that won't understand that she needs to sit down, or take out her book, or hang up her coat, when the teacher tells her to.

Not to mention that other kids won't want to befriend her. A child needs boundaries. They are actually being very unfair to her by letting her do what she pleases.
 
Ah lads I’m gonna be lynched for this but Blake is far from a brat (purely going by what is shown here) Jesus this pair do my head in on so many things, especially getting glam in for garden parties, but she is a totally normal toddler.

My lads (all reared now) were tornadoes in the house, slapped each other despite me correcting them at that age. I actually think that despite having a camera shoved in her face all day long she is a great and she’s still not even 2!!!!!

I agree, she's literally a baby.

This whole "she's ruined now for life " narrative has really grown legs.
