The way Brian engages with Blake is off. If she’s reading a book it’s ’are you reading your book Buhlake?’ If she’s on a swing it’s ’are you on the swing Buhlake?’. He sounds like a disconnected uncle instead of her daddy.

Yes and He NEVER uses any endearments or is really affectionate to her. It’s always these rhetorical questions.

Aoife was / will continue to be a major part of both girls lives regardless of GM status so it does seem as an after thought, Arthurs sister didnt get a look in.

Arthur's sister, Aoife and all Brian's lovely sisters and pipsy is Blake's godmother, if I were her I actually would have refused. These are so pretentious its embarrassing.
I was delighted to see Blake in a normal toddler outfit and she looked lovely in it, then to see she was dressed up like a business woman (wtaf?) and this was just a borrowed outfit. Christ on a bike

Put her in a business suit for a trampoline and playing with cousins, and didn’t bring a second outfit; which everyone would do for a toddler.
I agree with everyone who said that they have just thrown Aoife a bone making her Godmother and it’s also for the ‘public’. She should have been made Buhlake’s GM.
Why Donal Skehan? Why not Harvey’s Dad who they spend a lot of time with. Oh sorry. He’s not a celeb.
But they chose style over substance for the first child because when you see Pip holding Buhlake, you know it’s for the 3 second pic only and has Simon ever held her, has he ever come for a weekend to see his bestie and his Goddaughter? Nah
But they are both wealthy and have status (in the eyes of the DG’s), so that’s all that matters.

I remember when Pippa was announced as GM for Blake they had a few people comment that it should have been Aoife and why did they not choose her, so I’m guessing they wanted to avoid all of that again this time around. I’m sure if they had their way they would have picked Nadia Forde. Or maybe they did and she had the decency to decline and suggest Aoife
