So what is he thinking?
Asking everyone to submit a passport to match their ID … it’s frivolous! Anyone can still submit anything. Who will know different? Who will be honest? It’s even going against recommendations for social media security to put that information down. I sure hope he doesn’t have any young people following him who succumb to laying their true identities bare. Goodness me!

He shouldn’t be asking for anyones ID, he can get into trouble for holding information like that under data protection laws. I wonder what the ICO would say about this.

I’m not saying he is asking for ID (passport) I am just implying that to ask for a correct username with photo on an account means nothing unless he’s planning on matching against some ID. Who would give him that info … only people who don’t know better and that’s scary and sad!

I do not think so? I think the user was saying how will he verify someone's ID if he doesn't physically see an ID.
Be careful with how posts are worded as things like this could be misconstrued and Rich could easily say people are spreading lies about him in a situation like this. That's how things easily spiral.

Yes, that is what I meant given anyone can put a photo and name together. It was the point I was making of it being a ridiculous ask unless the plan was to check ID which I too doubt.
You’re right regards how easily things are / can be misinterpreted. It was I who made the comment that really stirred Rich up to the point where he called / interpreted it as a threat.
What I said was There’s more Rich, stay tuned’.
What I meant was there will be more posts on this thread so he should ‘stay tuned’ if he was over here reading it.

Yes it was your post that he saw as a threat and 100% misinterpreted it, everyone could see that. However, you responded to his direct threat anyway. I think that shows he’s used to being in control and a bully with no one standing up to him.
 
I cannot believe that his wife, working in a role where she’s responsible for the policy and implementation of child protection services is even slightly happy with her husband offering money on Instagram to find identities of people and then calling to users of the dark web to also help!!! I’d be beyond furious, these things stick and although it isn’t her posting those stories if she’s commented or encouraged or been seen to be in support she’s walking a very fine line. You have to be incredible aware of what’s written by you, as you, on social media when you’re in that kind of job role. He needs to think of the effects of his mad rambles too on her. Not so bad for a jobbing builder but it is for her.

Absolutely. How many of their friends and work colleagues follow his page and have seen those posts? People lose their jobs for things that they do over social media, if it compromises their employer and reflects badly on them. Obviously Lisa hasn’t said anything but i wonder if anyone is looking at it play out and how her name is dragged into it with raised eyebrows.

No problem at all!
This is social media after all … all the so called ‘followers’ that influencers pick up along their travels are merely blobs of ink in reality; nameless and faceless blobs. So when it’s all boiled down, who on earth would get to the point of ‘suicide’ over a nameless faceless blob of ink? It just doesn’t make sense and furthermore, spending endless hours of a life probably going to be cut short of its natural term, worrying about blobs of ink is senseless and implies the other people who are real in your life don’t rate significantly, if your limited overs are spent on nobody’s!
Perhaps this is how the rich and famous live. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Indeed, twisting things said here seems to be his forte. Forever persecuted.
This morning I read a farewell blog post written by a woman named Keely with stage 4 bowel cancer. She described how she spent her last months quietly with friends and family and thanked those who helped educate her along the way.
Hopefully he will drop his perceived grievances and reconsider how he spends his days.

Very sad to hear. I've unfollowed many of the cancer influencers as I once followed as this fame chasing has really changed some people (or maybe revealed their true self). That it's so hard to find someone genuine.
I do often find they very publicly announce that they've been told they have X months to live, and a fair few announce the worst case scenario as if it's the most likely which seems deceitful. It's all very toxic doing this stuff for followers :(
 
Something is very off with this man and his wife and friends should be trying to help him instead his wife is clearly encouraging him which as a social worker seems rather odd. She must know about privacy and safeguarding ? Yet she is condoning his crazy arse unhinged behaviour why ?! Surely she wants whatever time he has left to be happy peaceful and filled with love with her, his family and friends but no seems like she thinks what he is doing is fine and she thinks doxxing is ok too. All quite bizarre and I’m questioning everything and anything he has said now because it’s all off. He clearly has major anger issues is very volatile and seems to condone violence because him wanting peoples names and addresses is not to pop round for a cuppa now is it. I’m questioning his truth and integrity and think it’s not us that need help it’s him and I firmly believe he has always been a thoroughly nasty piece of work before Cancer for sure.
Rich wants fame and recognition not sure why because it’s not for his great work raising money, awareness or telling people to check their poo is it, because Dame Deborah James has done all that and mostly conducted herself wonderfully not like this vicious unhappy 🤡 who is really unlikable.
I think people that have been screwed over by him in the building work might say what goes around, comes around or Karma.
This is a place to discuss whatever subjects we choose, not for him to throw his toys out of the pram having a meltdown. So long live Tattle and those that write in her 😊☺️

I only learned about "cancer influencers" after following BowelBabe when she'd post about Invisalign and other products. I genuinely had no idea this was a thing and was totally confused about brand endorsements. Then started seeing others doing the same in my feed. I unfollow accounts that use their illness to sell me stuff.
