And as a result of that burglary, he got a bodyguard. Said bodyguard got beaten up on his property, and a few days later he set up BowelBro as a limited company. Clean as Jesus’s driving license this guy.
 
In Richs own words he was told after his initial op ( mid 2022) that he was riddled with cancer and this was not from any scans but from the surgeon actually seeing it and that he has 25 tumours

To add context. The GFM & gala both state that the funds are to go towards his care & treatment, the GFM raised £21000 and after the gala he stated that they’d raised £57000 which I’m assuming is a combined total. On his insta he claimed the money will go towards his care & other families with cancer through his charity‘Bowelbro’ so something isn’t right. I don’t have cancer but I have a lot of knowledge of treatment & Avastin through a close friend who had to privately fund their treatment, I’m sick of seeing these cancerfluencers think they’re owed everything purely because they have cancer. It’s become a sad clique of mean girls (& boys) who don’t support anyone outside of their top tier inner circle.

In the write up for the Go Fund me. It says that both Lisa and rich are self employed. I thought she was a social worker?

I haven’t really followed him much because something to me from everything I have seen and read is off. I don’t know a lot about cancer but every appt I’ve read or seen about has been dramatic, everything about everything to do with this man is bigger than any other, I don’t know anyone that has been messed about so much by so many different doctors etc if it was just one thing I might believe some of it but as an outsider looking in I don’t believe anything at all. I feel bad writing that especially if he has cancer and the diagnosis that he claims but it’s all very far fetched it’s like one big lie that gets bigger and bigger because once you start with a small white lie where does it end. I’m sure I’m just imagining this but I just don’t think any of it adds up. Then you add on everything else about his life and I really start to think is this all a scam

I don’t know. Like I said I just feel bad even thinking this but…

No don't feel bad for a minute because people are starting to have their doubts.
Something definitely does not add up.
If the situation is as bad as he claims then of course we all wish him well. But something else is going on here.
 
I don’t doubt for a minute he has cancer and nobody on here would wish that on anyone

However, he is also an opportunist and an ‘entrepreneur’

We know he has a history of embellishing and fantasising about his life

We know that his business affairs are not transparent

I don’t think we are being unfair here in assuming that this behaviour could’ve carried over into his health concerns
 
I think the conclusion I’m coming to is he’s a massive wanker, fraudulent ‘businessman’ who didn’t have qualms about conning the taxpayer (and clients) out of money, who got cancer, tried to profit off it too, and hoped that by having a cancer identity it would transform him into some sort of martyr for the cancer community.
 
Here’s an example of just a snippet of the tangled web that needs sifting through. The friend who set up the go fund me is also in construction in Northampton. His business is registered on companies house. There’s also another almost identical named company with a different director. This different director however holds a ”significant interest” in the original friends business. The almost identical company also has a registered address that was also once the registered address of the Davboss business. All the businesses started up in 2020. Must have been quite a year!!
The friend is also doing rather well - he treated himself to 100k plus Porsche in 2021. But then less than a year later was trying to sell it for just under 92k. As you do, he gaged interest on Facebook - just the place to go when you’re in the market for spending 100k on a car. I must try and remember that top tip!

All I can surmise is everyone in Northampton must have had a lot of spare cash for home renovations during lockdowns. Business was positively booming! All these new building companies being set up. And all the other weird ass companies - looks like Boris wasn’t the only one having a party!

The below is from the newspaper article about the fundraiser gala….

“Richard's close friend Lee Prescott, who is
helping to organise the black-tie dinner, said he cried for two days when he heard the news, but soon rallied himself to help fundraise.
He said: "If we can relieve some of the stress financially, it means Richard and Lisa can concentrate on Richard and his
treatment. He is a natural born fighter and he's facing this with his usual good humour”

Who knows - maybe that’s why he had to sell the Porsche so quickly at a loss - he must have donated some to the fundraiser!
