Doesn’t the publisher sort out the sales ? I’ve never heard of an author having to set up a PayPal account to take money then sort out the order … I’m sure Dan Brown never had this problem 🤔😃
He’s most likely self publishing. My boyfriend wrote a non-fiction book (as well as contributing to two history books) and was not involved in sales. His publisher set up book signing tours and distribution as well.
It seems like he’s getting a book printed and he’s doing everything else.
No reputable publisher would chose a photo of two people standing behind a sink with a faucet and hand wash for a book cover.

Gosh he seems really desperate about this PayPal thing - he must really need the cash. I watching a vid of his where he was going on about selling through Amazon because that’s how it gets into the charts, whereas if he posts them himself they don’t count as sales.

This man is delusional with his chat of charts?! Why does that even matter if all he wanted to do was write a book for his wife.

He said in his ‘welcome to my new followers’ post today that he’s written a book. Except he hasn’t. It isn’t finished yet. He can’t help but tell little porkies

If it’s family and friends PayPal then PayPal closes accounts without notice if it sees a sudden influx of money as it thinks it should be business. Then the owner can’t get the money. This happened to a few people I know when raising money for charity.
if he’s selling the book at £25 then PayPal will charge quite a bit per transaction- so it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s friends and family.
I still don’t think he’s reached the sales he has said unless Lisa has bought them all 😂

Might want to research food and bowel cancer before writing a cookbook, Rich. Colorectal cancer is linked to meat, processed, fatty foods, and alcohol in 90-95% of cases. Some doctors say to reduce fish, too. Rethink cooking all those steaks and sausages and posing with champagne. Not a good look for someone who claims to provide "information for those with cancer." If you want to help, do some nutrition and cancer homework. Inspiring your followers to eat healthier is a better legacy. Bowel Babe posted an interview with a Dr. Alan Desmond. Have a watch.

Also if he’s an alcoholic ??? Why is he drinking Champagne? Another lie I guess.

And he’s always drinking wine with dinner….!

Hes not an alcoholic nor do I believe hes a reformed drug addict. Hes just a normal average guy who spent his 20s binge drinking, partying and probably taking a few recreational drugs like milions of other people in their 20s do. Hes just trying to make his life seem more exiting than it is.

I’m not beating around the bush anymore. I think they’re dodgy as duck.
Thank you, I've been holding back also.
But with all his behavior anyone would be foolish to accept what he says as the truth with so many holes in it.
I think it's likley he said he had stage 4 and 6 months to live to get more attention. Then he can go on about how well he's doing. Shady as Feck!

I'm glad you said this, it's so true but people do get offended.

All of this!

I’m an alcoholic who has been sober for a wee while now, I’m comfortable in sobriety and happy to go where alcohol is served for specific occasions…but that’s only because I’m completely abstinent and I certainly wouldn’t feel as comfortable with bottles upon bottles of drink in the house.

So yeah, I think it’s another example of him exaggerating and fabricating - he couldn’t just have kicked the arse out of it when he was younger, he HAS to be an alcoholic. Unless he’s meaning he’s an active alcoholic but it doesn’t look like that and it’s a weird thing to say on the back of your book if you’re in the throes of alcoholic drinking and can hide it well
