Are those kids sunburned…….yup!

We are on holiday at the minute, we have a non swimming 4yr old and a swimming 11 yr old, if the kids are in the pool then one of the adults are in the pool, we take it in turns, even though we are “front row” of the pool (soz BM), it only takes a split second for something to happen.

We go away next Monday a non swimming 4 year old who literally started stage 1 swimming last week and a 7 year old who has just moved to stage 3, they won't be in the pool on their own at all next week, either myself or husband will be in there with them either actually in the water in the bigger pool or on the edge in the kids pool (it's a tiny rectangular that fenced off)

Usually kids under 8 and non swimmers have to have someone with them - it’s rule at all swimming pools I have been too.
If it wasn’t a rule - I’m sure most parents would be on the pool with their kids anyway!

Surely it’s just part of parenting?
We all want to enjoy our holidays but unless you don’t have any children then it’s a sacrifice you need to make.

This!!! OK so my youngest is now about S's age but I've only started to get zoned out sunbed time in the last year or so taking turns with their dad while the other one goes in the pool with them. She's clearly missing that bit of brain that actually feels responsibility for her own childrens safety. She's such an overgrown baby.

New room they've been given with their own private pool, the kids beds are in a separate room to them and right beside the door that leads out to the pool. Let's hope they lock that door and remove any key before they go to bed so that neither kid decides to get up and go for a swim by themselves in the middle of the night or early morning before the parents are awake.

It’s hardly a ‘suite’ is it? The kids still have to use pull out sofa beds…

And unlucky hotel, you’ve done all this yet a complaint will still be made once she has left.
She has absolutely exaggerated those issues with the room just like she does with everything. She knows exactly what she is doing…. Complain about the sunbed and throw in a few extra complaints about the room.
