I was going to say that’s Nigella Lawsons 20 year old recipe for ham cooked in Coca Cola. I love all these insta Huns sharing recipes nicked from actual chefs.? I’ve seen countless people sharing Jamie Olivers Christmas gravy recipe like they actually invented it!

I don't think she has cooked it long enough in the coke. I mean maths isn't exactly my stong point but 30 mins per 500g for a 1.8kg joint is around 1 hour 50 ish plus the extra half hour is 2hrs 20. So where has she got an hour from? Nigella does a 2kg joint for 2.5 hours in the liquid so it's deffo not cooked enough.

I'm unsure why she hasn't popped it in the oven afterwards? I usually cook mine in the slow cooker so it's done through but then pop a glaze on in the oven to finish it.

I remember when they took over a pub near me and completely ruined the reputation of the place!
yes I guess the chain is alright for a microwave meal on the cheap.
also with Christmas Day openings in any pub it’s always absolutely packed to the rafters with punters who’ve never used the place all year!
Them poor children won’t want to be in the pub watching the parents get pissed. Just stay home in the warm and play with their new toys on Christmas Day!
