See I don’t even believe they have much money (by the time everything is paid). Sure they probably have a comfortable income (he will be on a v good wage I imagine) but I also believe they are in a lot of debt and lots on finance to keep up with the lifestyle they desire and like to portray. I think their financial situation makes her miserable. I imagine she spends all the money she has spare and then ends up skint by the end of the month.

I do wonder how they are paying for the extension. I wonder if mummy and daddy are helping or maybe he got some inheritance. Or maybe remortgaged 🤷🏻‍♀️ or maybe she got compensation from Currys 🤣🤣

Not going to quote exact details so as to avoid doxxing, but they paid circa 300k for that house and that was after he’d divorced and brought equity with him, they weren’t first timers, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they used the equity to fund the extension as they’d have more than enough by now. He also works as a NAM and they get bonuses for hitting targets, so if they’d been smart they could have also saved that up to pay for it over the past few years…. but who are we kidding, she’s put many TK Maxx workers kids through college instead 🤦🏻‍♀️

The likelihood is they’ve pulled money out of the house, although they’ll never see a return on it, pulling six figures out just before house prices plummet makes me despair, I don’t know why they didn’t just wait a year and snap up a larger place!

That boiler looks bloody old! Part of being a grown up and a home owner is making sure you have your rainy day savings for stuff like this. They’ve lived in the house for what, 8 years? I’d be squirrelling away something each month because anything that was there before I lived there, I’d be assuming needs replacing at some point.

Possibly it was being moved with the new extension/kitchen set up. I would also put it off replacing it if I knew I was getting a new one in a few month so it wouldn’t have to be moved.
