Comprehensive rankings? Comprehensive rankings of supermarkets anyone? I'll start. Just to preface I am NOT a tory I just enjoy good quality ingredients:

1) Waitrose
2) M&S & Ocado
3) Sainsburys
4) Co-Op (their fruit is quite good quality)
5) Tesco
6) Asda for the baby clothes only
I don't have an Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons or Iceland near me.

Top tier: M&S, Waitrose, Lidl, Tesco
Middle: Co-op, Iceland
Lower: Aldi, Sainsbury’s

Can’t rate Asda or Morrisons as I don’t go. Feel like Iceland should be at the bottom but I’m addicted to Pepsi Max and can buy big crates of it there so it gets bumped up.

Does that mean you’ve never had anything from a Lidl bakery? Because that’s tragic if so.

I have indeed never had anything from a Lidl bakery. I'm learning people froth at the gash over it though. Tesco top tier? Goldie why

I eat a metric fuckton of fruit and I have to concede Sainsburys fruit is bleeping shite. M&S fruit is god tier - their red pears have been a staple in my diet since last October.

Frothing for Lidl bakery is valid tbh. You need to do a Becki Jones and find your nearest one even if it is an hour away lmao.

Do you know what, I actually can’t remember the last time I went to a Tesco. Maybe it’s nostalgia from late night trips there 🤡

I don't really like cake tbh, lemon drizzle is the best and I enjoy a dry supermarket chocolate muffin but from a bakery it has to be gingerbread.
