i think it’s nice to see the immigrant communities specifically be represented, I don’t think you get it much these days

I don’t know how to explain it but a lot of box ticking is just sort of visual representation and this is a step beyond “they’re this race/ethnicity/probably this religion”

Especially Asian. They seem to be woefully under represented on things like Love Island for eg.
