No it definitely ran for around three months. Would start the end of May or beginning of June and end late August just as the kids were about to go back to school. That’s why new housemates would get added, usually middle way through to mix things up because it would start to drag and stale towards the end. I actually think a slightly shorter series is better in that respect. There will have to be double and mid week evictions staring soon though because there are too many of them in there.
 
I think we’ll start to see more of the others personalities. As big personalities leave the dynamics change and others grow more confident. Jenkins has said a few wee funny things over the past few nights. Kerry is now a bit of a lone wolf so will be interesting to see how she now develops.
I also think Noky is very aware of how she is coming across and not being natural.
Chanelle also been doing some stirring so these are new dynamics which I am glad to see as bored of the Hallie show

Judging by other BB seasons this isn’t normally the case

The majority of the people left are all people who would rather discuss others with their friends than seek out confrontation. It’ll be interesting to see how the producers fill the time without Hallie doing something annoying or complaining
 
held off commenting bc i can't decide who to agree with but think i've figured it out
- jordan likes henry as a person, would be a slow burn especially as they're together 24/7
- but he's sexually attracted to matty in a way he isn't to henry? like w jordan a switch flips and it's purely primal instinct.

i don't even think matty is overly flirty with jordan until he has to 'respond'. he's the same kind of playful with henry, trish, yinrun etc but he doesn't get a sexualised response from them so has nothing to bounce off in that sense. but w jordan it's straight to 'keep that pretty mouth shut' 'don't tease me' etc and it's getting so uncomfortable. i don't even think matty is comfy with it but doesn't want to cause tension so is playing along, only now realising how it's affected henry. based on hallies interview the rest of the house hasn't caught on either?
 
Are they all genuine housemates? Or are they just so used to reality show stuff, that some of them are just coming across as fake? Or have a couple of actors been planted in there? Playing at being a character and not actually trying to be themselves?

I cant work out Jordan? He seems to be gameplaying... but he isnt the only one!

I think they could have done with another two weeks for this series. I agree some of the three month series seemed like they lasted forever, but this feels very short.
 
Where is all this Hallie love on social media coming from? Apparently she was sooooo entertaining and it’s going to be sooooo boring without her. She was a brat who chucked tantrums. Nikki Grahame and Channel Haynes did it so much better fifteen years ago, but if you did like her so much you could have voted out one of the others instead. I genuinely don’t think some younger viewers understand how it works. It’s not Stictly or IAC you vote to evict not keep them in.

I was thinking who her voice/tone reminded me of at that point and I realised it’s Mrs Hinch 😂

They are all gameplaying to an extent, some more than others, and all very clued up on reality TV. That's why you'll never see anything like the early days of BB again. They are all very aware of the cameras, how to get airtime, and how to manipulate the public/vote with a sob story.

I read some of the DS livestream thread last night; Jordan and Henry were discussing Hallie and how she really seemed very clued up on BB even though she would only have been thirteen when the last series aired on C5. So some of them will have 'studied' BB too in order to figure out how to win the game. Obviously didn't work for Hallie! From what's been said, Noky has also done this, and I'd guess Jordan has too.

The thing is, Hallie may have only seen Henry and Jordan because she heard from someone (Kerry or Henry, a reminder that Henry confirmed to Kerry that he was into Jordan) that there were romantic feelings there. I think it's no accident that there was a discussion recently between a few of them that Henry and Jordan would make a cute couple

I'm reading through Digital Spy and I like someone's take:
This is my take on what's actually happening - Jordan is making a big show of his friendship with Henry in front of his public (the housemates) - even to the point where we have Jenkin talking about wedding outfits. Whilst out of earshot & eyesight of the others he's playing this flirting game with Matty. The show also seems to be leading us to think that Matty is the instigator of most of this (how many shots have we seen of Matty apparently staring at Jordan) it happens at least once an episode. And yet apparently none of the other housemates have noticed this!!!!!!
I think there's been a lot of coercive editing going on there - and it is making Matty look creepy!
At the same time we also see that when ever Matty tries to have a serious discussion about whta's going on between them, Jordan goes all coy "Oh I'm tired now" "Oh you're scaring me now" but when Matty walks away he's suddenly all flirty with him.
Like recently in the bedroom - Matty walks away & suddenly Jordan's act changes & he coyly teases "Don't walk away from me" - it has the desired effect & Matty returns. Even more telling, that exchange led to Jordan chasing Matty down the corridor to the main living space. We see Henry through the door & suddenly Jordan does the fakest fall on his arse I've ever seen!
Oops - lost himself there & suddenly had to get himself out of the situation.

I'm not sure if Jordan and Henry are only flirting in private/away from the other housemates. Matty also seems to be very touchy with Trish and Yinrun that being touchy with Jordan wouldn't be that weird to other housemates

It's also the only post I've read that mentions why people think the triangle is edited weird. Honestly, I haven't even noticed this because I was paying attention to clear shots of them flirting

I think Henry has too. Both of them were talking about how they make really niche references about past BB series and how Hallie would understand them which is how they clocked on that she would have re-watched the series

When it’s for longer they all go mad from boredom and shave their hair off or something to occupy themselves. I want them to be properly hungry as well 😆
