Kerry was mentioned on LBC this morning re Her use of the Gay word something tells me She might get told off when she is back at work
Doubt it - she'll be sent on (or choose) a 3-day course, which will give her the excuse to do no work
The only people I’ve seen use ‘gay’ as an insult recently are teens and people in their early 20s. I thought most of us who used to use have now learnt better.Kerry was mentioned on LBC this morning re Her use of the Gay word something tells me She might get told off when she is back at work
Exactly. I'm really surprised to hear a 40 year old using it that way and the fact she said it so easily shows it's something she probably says regularly. The only people I’ve seen use ‘gay’ as an insult recently are teens and people in their early 20s. Heard that. The rubbish presenter that is Nick Ferrari could have made that an interesting topic for people to call in about, I would have. Instead he trivialised it, started talking about gay poodlesKerry was mentioned on LBC this morning re Her use of the Gay word something tells me She might get told off when she is back at work
It did shock me when I heard a teen say it. We used to throw it around a lot in the 00s but I haven’t heard it for years.Exactly. I'm really surprised to hear a 40 year old using it that way and the fact she said it so easily shows it's something she probably says regularly.
It doesn't offend me, but it definitely makes me think less of people who use it that way (and I thought very little of Kerry already ).
That doesn’t surprise me when it comes to him. Lots will adopt a “you can’t say anything these days!” mindset and will make it out to be nothing.Heard that. Yes, it's cringey to hear a 40+ person using the term, and I would think less of someone (of any age) using it.Exactly. I'm really surprised to hear a 40 year old using it that way and the fact she said it so easily shows it's something she probably says regularly.

You don’t even really have to be posh. The accent is easy to pick up if you’re friends with posh people - happens plenty in uni. People also switch between accents frequently and naturally depending who they are with or what they’re talking aboutIf you’re posh you’re posh and speak the queen’s English no matter where you’re from.
I’m just saying I don’t think he’s fakes his accent. You don’t even really have to be posh. The accent is easy to pick up if you’re friends with posh people - happens plenty in uni. People also switch between accents frequently and naturally depending who they are with or what they’re talking about
I really don’t know why people are so bothered about his accent I think he just sounds a bit unnatural but that’s a result of him possibly being autistic or/and clearly holding back a lot on the show because he wants to keep up a certain image. I think he mentioned last night how he doesn’t want to be emotional on the show specifically?
Urgh I can just tell that Kerrie is convinced she’s the nation’s sweetheart.
I know, I just wanted to have a bit of a rant, sorry!I’m just saying I don’t think he’s fakes his accent.
