I feel like Love Island is a bit tainted now with all the suicides associated with it but ITV won’t drop it as it’s still a massive ratings hit. It’s only runs for six weeks though, so maybe have Big Brother start after it finishes? Eight weeks is probably ideal for BB. We know CBB is returning next year on ITV1, I am excited to see what they do with it with their big budget, I expect some big names. The casting on Im A Celeb has always been a cut above other celeb based shows.

He massively failed to read the room. Trish talked about losing her Dad and step-mum, Matty described working conditions that would give anyone PTSD and Henry pipes up about how the idiot Johnson “worked hard” and seems like he would be a jolly good fellow to have a drink with so all should be forgiven. He showed a real lack of maturity and life experience and reminded me that some people are really dim enough to vote based on a politician’s persona rather than whether their manifesto is any good/achievable. Because after all, it’s only a pantomime and not real people’s lives on the line, pip-pip tallyho, let’s all vote for the chap with the amusing hairstyle 😡
 
I usually vote as soon as the app votes are open and use all five on one person. This time I've gone with
Chanelle x2 - think people are assuming too much that others will vote for her
Jenkin x2 - won't notice much if he leaves and think without him and Chanelle we will see more of the fun/friendlier Olivia
Noky x1 - sorry but she bores me so much, feel like falling asleep as soon as she starts talking.

Final night is always vote to win. But we don't yet know how many will still be in the house on the final night. I stopped watching after around BB10, but I seem to remember 6 being typical (wasn't it just 3 in BB1?) and I still think 6 is too many. They could bin one per day from Tuesday or so, on vote to win.

I think one per day next week would be fun. Really start whittling them down 😀
 
Stepping back to last night’s show because I always catch up next day.
I think Trish and Jordan’s “spat” was just a storm in a teacup, and was handled good-naturedly by both of them. Trish just forgot herself for a moment, by that I mean you can’t really approach Jordan the way you would with other people you are close to. I think it told us about their friendship that they feel safe discussing things with each other. Trish warned him about Chanelle and Jordan told her off for being in his face and presuming he would take kindly to being told what to do. They both had good intentions and Trish didn’t hesitate to apologise for misreading things. Jordan just told her straight that he wasn’t having any of it, he didn’t storm off to bitch behind her back. I also think Trish learned a valuable lesson about the sacred relationship between a man and his crisp sandwich 😅

To not be able to read the room when you're sitting with someone who lost their parents to COVID and to a doctor who was on the frontline is just awful Tory behaviour.

I know he's in the house so won't be up to date with the ongoing enquiry but it was just confirmed Boris really said "Let the bodies pile high". Not exactly someone to have a cocktail with 🙄

Choices were made. To eat a crisp sandwich in bed is asking for a sensory nightmare. He needed 100% concentration not to have wee shards in the bed 😂

Usually the public get the right winner and I expect this will be Yinrun, I’ve said before I feel manipulated by all of this but on this occasion I actually don’t mind. What I actually do mind is how Tom ever got selected to go on the show. was the person with the title Discerning Interviewer out sick on that day.

I think BB’s had enough attention to warrant a longer series next year, they picked a good cast this time, hopefully they can do it again.

True, in past Big Brother series I've been involved in more lively discussions, whereas most people seem to agree who the crap housemates are when it comes to this series! :D

I agree Henry doing the "I thought Boris was great" talk right after Trish's speech was tone deaf. I suppose the only positive I took from it is that at least he's not fake. He said he loved Boris in his opening VT and he was consistent with that. If he'd said what he thought Trish wanted to hear, it would have come across as disingenuous IMO.

I honestly thought he'd have maybe broadened his horizons a little more in the house. That said, I think it shows the positives of BB in that it brings together people who probably wouldn't be friends IRL.

I also still can’t get over how creepy his eyes are. I said it before and I’ll say it again, he looks like he permanently has those all black eye contacts in. He has just entirely black irises/dilated pupils that make him look evil 😂 between that, the horrific perm and the constant twisting his piercings, I can’t stand the sight of him.
