I am not at all certain that doing things the way that they did was in line with their duty of care. It was deliberately manipulative, dropped Noky & Trish right in it, what the hell did they expect? Good viewing figures, I expect. We bleeping loved it, but I am inclined to think that it was a bit improper, to say the least.
I 100% agree! it was incredibly unfair and actually uncomfortable to watch.
Both Trish and Dylan were as bad as each other. Get them both out next
Dylan was the agressor in the situation. What was Trish supposed to do? just sit back and take it or stand up for herself?

Some people just don't seem to like seeing women stand up for themselves 🤔

I think it would've made good telly to deliberately not reveal the possessed housemates. All the gossip and speculation would've been entertaining, almost turning it into The Traitors.

The problem the production seems to have with this house is that they would rather sit and gossip in groups than outright talk about these things. That’s more or less all they have been doing the entire time and it’s getting boring to watch and the producers seem to be struggling to get a coherent narrative for the audience to follow - hence why we saw so much of the love triangle. I understand some people might enjoy that but the facts are that they need to keep those viewing figures up

I think the main duty of care they have to be concerned with is when it comes to the public. They can control what happens in the house to some degree so some shouting and insults won’t be the end of the world

Really I’d argue it was nastier watching the way Farida was treated by Kerry and some of the house

Im assuming you're referring to me with your "some people" comment. Bit passive aggressive, don't you think? My issue is nothing to do with anyone standing up for themselves, be it a woman or not. Trish irritates me , as does Dylan now. I don't particularly like her or how she behaves. And after last night that goes for Dylan too. I didn't realise we all had to have the same opinion and worship the people you do.

I’ve been on a few FB groups this morning and it’s interesting to see how the usual baggage’s interpreted last nights argument. Namely that Trish (a woman) was in the wrong, that she is a ‘bully’ and that she had no right to speak Dylan (aka an alpha male) like that even though he started it and she has been ‘targeting him for ages’. It’s completely at odds with everything I read on here, DS, Twitter, the official social media etc. Really disturbing that they think his outburst was acceptable, but there you go we should all subservient to blokes in their eyes

Big brother should've spoken to Dylan about his behaviour. The black on black comment was way out of line. I've enjoyed big brother but last nights episode got me so angry. Big brother didn't need to out the girls potentially opening them up to being nominated. But even after they explained which I thought they did well for Olivia Dylan and Paul to be there saying it's fake fake etc such crap. And yet Olivia still got into bed with her!
Also hi new to the thread lol
This probably won’t happen BUT I would like BB to show the housemates how they came up with their choices…only to clear their names. Would have been better if Big Brother didn’t reveal it was Trish & Noky.

"Worship" 🤣 Don't put words into my mouth and stop being so defensive. You're not the only one who has called Trish into question and if I meant you, I would've quoted you. But if the cap fits 🤷‍♀️

Well don't put words into mine. Works both ways. I dont like her, you do. tit happens, and I can't be arsed with people who think their opinion is right and everybody else's is wrong. Seems you do it a lot so, Hello ignore button 🙂

Yeah they definitely put them in the firing line, bit unfair!

I don’t think people have a problem with Trish standing up for herself

They have a problem with how she handled it by matching his energy unnecessarily. Just like they have a problem with how Dylan came in looking for an argument and also made similar insults

I’m not a fan of Trish, and honestly I don’t think I have anything that hasn’t already been said about Dylan to add to the conversation

I can see why Trish got so angry. Black people get judged more anyway and him bringing race into it just makes it worse. I would have been as mad as her
I think with the race comment he was trying to get at the fact that they should protect each other in cases of killer nominations. But it’s a bit silly because he himself has nominated Trish and even a normal nomination adds up and possibly puts someone up for eviction

The comment was unnecessary but it was also sort of empty in meaning

Agreed, I’m just here for the drama Mick.

I think BB fucked up announcing who the 2 possessed housemates were. Seems short sighted.
Yes agree. There could have been mileage out of keeping it secret. I can only think maybe they had already been twigged, possibly by Jordan, and therefore BB thought they might as well reveal them.
FWIW I didn't think Trish was out of control. I was actually impressed how she kept it together in the face of Dylan's incredibly unreasonable aggressive attack. I also think she was purposely absorbing it and stopping him attacking Noky who seems far more vulnerable. And fair play Trish never saying 'anyway it was Noky who nominated you' in the heat of the argument. They said it later at the meeting I know and were disbelieved.
ETA with the benefit of hindsight she and Noky should have just said 'we are forbidden from discussing nominations' but BB didn't give them any warning did they?
