I don't think so. Netflix take a lot of itv, c4 and c5 dramas a year or two after they aired sos suspect it's just that

I’m just remembering how a former Channel 4 show - Black Mirror - changed dramatically in series3, became very Americanised, and was even advertised as a “Netflix Original” as if the first two UK-aired series didn’t exist..
