This sounds really mean and judgmental and I don't intend it to be - but could Bex weight contribute to her fatigue? I only mention it as years ago I had similar along with IBS. I was quite overweight. It took a very straightforward medic to point out my weight was not helping. I think I knew but was in massive denial. I hated hearing it and hated her but she was spot on. Still got the fecking IBS 😂
Happy to be put right on this by those far more informed than me.

Aye I think I've mentioned this before. Since wfh and becoming a medium fat bleep (and that's me Bex, not saying you are) who barely moves, the volume of aches and pains is off the scale and I don't help that with how I work (spoiler: quite often on the sofa). I'm trying to rectify it with a walking treadmill as old Crispydug doesn't go out much outside of his pals time these days and I've never been an outside walking sort (aka a lazy bastard 😂). Much to my Old Harold's despair, I made us take a memory foam topper on holiday 😳

I'm pretty sure my physio friend is going to disown me soon though 🤣

Bex, you're not disabled, you're fat. You're nearly 30 and your lifestyle is catching up to you. In addition to her vague descriptors, this is how I know that this wasn't an actual doctor giving feedback on her *checks notes* exhaustion, made up virus and pain from breaking and then not rehabilitating a collarbone, because they'd have pointed this out.

She sleeps til noon, clearly eats a lot of shite and spends any spare money on tattoos (bodily stress), getting electrocuted (bodily stress) and flipping cars with herself and her son in them (bodily stress plus other stressors). No wonder she's ageing like milk and is tired.

She will be exactly what Sarah Jay is in a handful of years, I guarantee you.
 
It will be interesting to see Bex research the hEDS diagnosis criteria and then slowly force herself to fit the criteria over months while she gets fast-tracked by a charity she has guilt tripped into paying for a private diagnosis, because unfortunately just like autism and ADHD, hEDS has been co-opted by hyper-online munchies and so the waiting list to see a rheumatologist is over a year long in lots of places.

Most people want a hEDS diagnosis so they can make their life easier, but Bex sees ££££ to be milked.

Bex may not be able to stand and lay her palms flat on the ground with straight legs now, or touch her thumb back to her wrist, but give her a few months and she’ll be the most flexible scammer in her internet circle.
 
It’s quite special, her ability to medicalise things such as chopping up the two hardest vegetables known to man!

And she has turned claiming benefits into an art form by including her inability to safely prepare meals alone in her high care needs benefit haul at the same time as pretend to compile and promote a recipe book that has resulted in £6k scammed unearned income.

BTW - is there any publicly available evidence to prove her 75 fans at £15 a month? Because that’s over a grand a month, and, if true, that puts her on about £38k total income including all her benefit streams. No wonder she is permanently on holiday, planning the next holiday, on weekends at the theatre in London, staying in insanely expensive Travelodges for Download (they spike their prices) and can upgrade her car (and pay the insurance changes) at the drop of a hat and without breaking into a sweat.

Even more astonishing- that there are 75 humans in the world that would chip in for that - a feat even more incredible than the great Jack Monroe Patreon scam if you ask me.

It's the disingenuous 'I only stayed in Butlins for 4 days and it cost £200' (or whatever the exact scenario was). It obviously cost far more once other expenses are taken in to account. The actual cost of the accommodation is the tip of the iceburg. And I don't expect Bex stints on treats and meals out as she no doubt 'deserves it'.
If she does get diagnosed with this fatigue virus thing does that mean she can possibly get more benefits? Or will it just be more 'proof' and backup for existing claims? Plus more excuses for no book and lying in bed all morning. I bet once diagnosed there will be a flurry of tweets about how it's so frustrating as the book was neaaarly finished but vague medic has advised she takes complete rest 🙄

I'm going to ride this out until she admits there's no book.

Will she ever admit there is no book? Or just keep pretending there will be.
I 100% think if it wasn't for Tattle she'd have dropped mention of the book at least a year ago. Well she's basically stopped mentioning it but ykwim.
'The list of things wrong with me are growing'. You just know she is thrilled with this. Means money, pity and medication. No chance of her taking up exercise of any sort, or a healthy diet, to help with her health.

I think there'd be a looooot more grifting as well. When you look back on her timeline she vastly reduced and then faded out the 'I'm poor' narrative as this thread started. Now, I know that 6k would be very handy for not being as skint, but certainly not in the long term.

I don’t think Bex is trying to get any new benefits with this plan. She’s just thinking long-term. Her LCWRA award was linked to her “breakdown” she had a few years ago when her ex left her, and she claimed to be suicidal. Around the time the Kickstarter funds hit her account she had a 2-3 month “blackout” due to “trauma”…aka she spent the money and needs an excuse. Anyway, as we can see she’s managing holidays and events so she can’t use the suicidal/mental health card for much longer or DWP will be onto her.

Luckily she has her mild crash injuries to milk but doctors will be onto her too because they know how her injuries should be affecting her long-term, so something like ME/CFS or EDS/fibromyalgia is perfect for a fraudster like Bex. It means she gets another 10 years of benefits secured, just in time for the benefits she gets for kiddo to stop. She’s already announced she will be charging him rent etc (as if he will even be capable to work…) so that’s her plan 🙂 If she can get him to work she will use him as a way to buy a house, and she will be the disabled mum that he has to look after.

She’s either waiting so she can save enough money to replace the money meant for printing and sending, and is just buying time until then, or she’s just hoping it fades into obscurity. She’s gotten away with it for this long, and only a few backers still bother to ask about it. The rest know they’ve been scammed and hopefully think twice before backing other projects. Realistically she never has to release it and can just blame her physical and mental health.

If she'd applied herself, it's possible she could have made a small, real, ongoing income.

Of course that would imply she hadn't lied in the initial Kickstarter outline - saying the brochure was all but completed - but that was her dream and passion.

I stand by my ongoing opinion that it's not a necessary book to start with, but she was GIVEN £6.2k. The self-publishing was paid for. The ongoing nature of word of mouth sales and goodwill from initial backers possibly may have been real.

It's very shortsighted.

Obviously the audiobook would have gone gangbusters 😆
