A rebirth from which she rises like all the grifters rise: like a Phoenix, defiant in the face of "adversity" and with fresh - "burned from tragedy and trauma but STRONG" (and lots of capital letters and selfies) - assuredness that the book is ON SCHEDULE (the new schedule, tbc.)

Wish they'd all choke in their cocoons. Not literally, obviously. Wouldn't cry if they got tangled therein, though

Why does she think she is so very different to all the other people with their threads here.

Bex - YOU are a liar. YOU are a grifter. You are no different, other than in scale and reach.

Exactly this. Just need her to witch about Carly Carlz Burd now and that will be a full house of grifters I've commented on here. Come on, Bex, give me that bingo!

Love a good crossover episode! But I'm losing track, remind me, Bex is a spinoff from RSM who was a spinoff from JM right? The grifter universe is getting complicated what with OverSharer as well now.

Yes it's 6 degrees of grifter separation.
Didn't Bex make a brief appearance on the Monroe threads here defending her ages ago? Or is that a false memory?
I'm fairly sure that Hattie person (can't remember her last name) did too. Wonder what happened to her? She was another one who crowdfunded for a book which never appeared, and she'd always have a MH breakdown when even mildly asked about it.

I think she might have vaguely defended her but also slagged her off 🤣

Another Unbound project. That one completely disappeared without a trace.

My favourite moment was the “give me a free holiday for myself and my family and I will write about it for you”. Worked though - two twats gifted her free stays. I bet the really loved the 20 odd view counts her write ups got (16 of them fraus).

Anyway - back to this one. Mutual Aid. Absolutely thieves and scoundrels the lot of them. Mugging off is more accurate.

It will never fail to bemuse me that folk on the internet who are in tricky situations, that 9 times out of 10 could be reasonably easily managed, justify grifting with the term 'mutual aid'. Prior to Tattle, I'd only ever heard of this term in reference to things like serious events like natural disasters, rather than someone not having £20 for dog food.

It makes me feel like such a bleeping Tory. I spent so many years maximising the benefits of struggling families, appealing DLA (as it was then), going to tribunals, going to food banks for folk and there was never anything other than struggle (no entitlement). I've been skint (very), I've worked with people in poverty. I don't understand the online begging, to be quite honest. It sits really weirdly and I can't quite articulate why without sounding like an old bastard.

I agree. There’s a woman who interacts with Bex who is constantly asking for rent, asking for $1400 for her electricity, asking for money for weed, and also constantly tweeting about men using her for sex. She’s extremely obese and unhealthy but always posting nudes. These people are all the same and move in the same circles. They live in another universe.
