As a single mum myself, I find people are often embarrassed to say it - many people tiptoe around it, and treat it like outright calling someone fat. I very much doubt her landlord, even if she does know she's a single mum, would go 'well you're a single mum'.

It's like apologising for a messy kitchen and your landlord going 'well you are a fat person'...

Yes, none of it looks particularly bad, either on a culinary or photographic level, but she clearly isn't passionate about cooking and isn't imaginative or original. I'd be perfectly happy to eat most of the dishes she's photographed, it's just that I wouldn't even dream of spending a single penny on a book with those recipes in.

I'm an extremely anxious person, I have autism and ADHD and I struggle through daily adulting life- yet I still work, look after my house and child properly etc- and I know for a fact I wouldn't cope at Download. For years I've wanted to do a big festival, Download, Bloodstock etc, but I just know I won't cope. She hasn't got a chance in hell of coping if her anxiety etc is as debilitating as it supposedly is

I don’t have any anxiety issues but I am a princess and I only do Download because I can drive home and have a shower and sleep in my comfortable bed.

I am doing Bloodstock this year for a change. Lucky me.

I will say that even I was a bit overwhelmed the last time I went when Slipknot were one of the headliners - the only time I have seen more people in such a small space was when Eminem headlined Vfest and Rhianna was his guest.

Bex is either exaggerating her claims() or will melt down 20 minutes into queueing to get in the arena areas.

It's because she uses these diagnoses as a scapegoat for any failures or wrongdoings, to avoid chores/work/tasks, or to gain sympathy, but simply won't keep the act up if it means missing out on fun. And if you bring this up, you're ableist or get the typical line of 'disabled people have lives too'.

Her behaviour doesn't say autism or ADHD to me, it says BPD.

Well someone has replied saying it’s a “never again” experience with her (alleged) diagnoses. And it was related to the last year I went too!

BTW - most people do Thursday- Monday morning (and even if you chose to leave Sunday, the car parks and roads are pretty rammed with others doing the same, so it might as well be Monday). And that’s a long time to be away from your kid with very complex and high care needs, is it not? On top of all the other holidays and “retreats” she has planned.

Her life is one big pack of lies, isn’t it, A costly to the taxpayer pack of lies at that.

Bex you’ll be fine. The only time your disability manifests itself is when you have to write your cookbook. I’ve been to dozens of festivals and I’ve never needed to write a book.

Just getting into the carpark at Download is enough to make me melt down and I’m NT.

The walking miles a day, constant over stimulation and extremes of weather (because it’s either sunstroke or monsoon, no in between) are also challenging.

I bloody love it, but it’s not an easy weekend by any stretch.
