I do agree with her about the maternity jeans though…I’ve never got far enough in a pregnancy to need the clothes, but I have an aversion to low rise (millennial teen trauma) and I would hate wearing them even with the belly band coming higher as I imagine it just feels like low rise still.

I think she should just stick to the dresses though, she didn’t look particularly good in jeans before pregnancy as it showed off her biggest parts.

If she wanted dungarees she shouldn’t have chosen denim. My sister got some from a specific maternity brand when she was pregnant that stretch with the bump and then you can breast feed with too, but let’s be honest Beth won’t have bothered researching for anything practical and just wants to throw her money away
Considering she’s apparently done “all” the research it actually surprises me she hasn’t seen anything like that pop up on Instagram.

Didn’t she say not long ago she didn’t want to “waste” money on maternity clothing? Yet here we are with something that definitely won’t fit much longer, they’re so tight.

ok who is going to tell her she still just looks fat and there isn’t a baby bump? Just buy a big dress Beth, and a ‘mum to be’ sash for your baby shower and then everyone will know who the pregnant one is.

Beth needs to check her privilege… imagine a dress for a baby shower (you’re not even having yet!) being your biggest problem! Why doesn’t she just wait until nearer the time then she won’t have to worry about it… what if she pops before her baby shower and can’t fit in the dress she purchased too early 🥴

Imagine if this happened! My sister had a baby shower planned for her and she gave birth the very afternoon she should’ve been at the baby shower 🤣🤣🤣

Can we just point out that MANY women will work full time right up until 38 weeks, often in demanding roles, physically and/or mentally. Being "wiped" after some email admin and lunch out is not normal for a healthy pregnant woman. She has an absolute shock coming to her; even if she gets a good sleeper, as soon as he's on the move, she will be chasing him around all day. Unless she does a sophoe & dave and uses the ipad as a babysitter 7+ hrs a day!
I thought this the other day when she had to sit down trying clothes on in matalan. When I was at the same stage as her I was pulling in a 50 hour week on my feet!

I mean I won’t lie, if I (hopefully 🤞🏻) get to the bit of pregnancy where everyone knows, I fully intend to milk the duck out of it and be a lazy witch but I definitely won’t be advertising my lazy witch behaviour on social and acting like it’s normal.

the fact that she is makes me think she actually thinks it’s normal when as you guys say, people work hard physical jobs right up until they are about to give birth so it comes across super lazy.
