Beth Sandland #7 So beige. So bland. So sandland.

Also let’s hope none of the neighbours complain about overlooking from her climbing frame thing.

I work as a town planner and we’ve dealt with quite a few of these types of application!
Wonder if she applied for planning permission? ...looks like it's less than 2 m from the garden boundary and is pretty close to height restrictions too
theyve also got rid of so many lovely mature shrubs and trees in the garden- it looks so bland and boring now- not exactly a wildlife friendly garden

If it's less than 2m from the boundary the max height is 2.5m, from a quick look on their website, the platform height tends to be1.2m and the playhouse attachment seems to be around 1.7m high, so combined it exceeds those restrictions. Someone should have done a little more research before putting that up.

C’mon this is Beth, the rules don’t apply to her!

also I see she’s had another full on day at the coal face - theatre with the first born this morning and an afternoon at the hairdressers.

Be a real shame if someone who was in the know makes a complaint to Oxfordshire county council 😝

A very brief bit of research on internet found this information regarding safaris and children https://www.naturaltoursandsafaris.com/blog/planning-family-safari-in-kenya
so not only are their kids far too young, she's also thinking of going on safari at total wrong time of year
Just take them to Knowsley Safari park instead! ( then she can use their rear facing seats!)
Exactly. January is not when you go on Safari.. that’s why she was saying the flights were ‘cheap’ 😂 I’ve been to SA on a safari/Cape hols (before we had kids) and it is absolutely not a trip I would take toddlers on! There are literally animals that wander through camp.. it’s not like fenced off or anything. Also it’s not a cheap holiday, it is definitely one I want to take my kids on.. but when they will actually remember it. You’re getting up and leaving at like 5:30 AM which will mess with her precious 7-7 babes. 🙄 I’d also be pissed if I paid all that money for Safari to have someone bring a couple toddlers that whine on our several hour long Safari drive.

And then she has the gall to tell someone not to take their kids to Marrakech on her recent reel. She’s worried about motorbikes but not lions? Open pools but not safari jeeps with no seatbelts?

She just wants to go for the photo ops and likes.

Laughing at her saying The Souk isn't suitable for a pram...like the African plains are? ..she's delulu
just wait till they're 8 and , when they'll actually be able to do all safari related activities and remember the whole trip( and be covered insurance wise)
- she seems to think thinks she's the bucket list family!
it's perfectly reasonable to go on a family holiday in Europe and it still be exciting and educational ! ( how about Scandinavia or Iceland?) ....or even closer to home like France and Germany ...however not bougie enough for our world traveller

Thought there was no such thing as a holiday destination that isn't suitable for kids Bethany?! 🤔 she's changed her tune quickly 😅 a bit like the 'I won't ever dress like a mum' fiasco now she's trying to reclaim her elevated style 🥴🤢

Eurgh she really will shill anything for money won't she? Seriously advertising follow on milk which is totally unecessary (and only exists so companies can advertise formula) which i'm sure she knows.
I am so shocked by this - she was the poster girl for EBF with zigzag and now she’s aiding the formula industry. Anything to get that influencer dollar.

I had a baby 5 months ago and I can’t tell you how many professionals explained to me that all formula is created equal and there is never a need for “comfort” or “follow on” etc. it’s all marketing. The most basic / cheapest brand of formula has absolutely everything a baby needs. The minimum standards / threshold is high. I was told this several times in NCT and then by midwife’s and health visitors. Beth has had two babies so she’s heard it double the amount of times I have and yet here she is. She has absolutely no integrity!

Exactly this. If an ingredient has proven benefits then ALL formula milk has to contain it. Anything extra has no evidence to support its use.

I work in infant feeding support. The WHO code exists for a reason. Some people would assume I’m anti-formula, however I truly believe formula is 100% necessary, be it for a families choice, or out of need, but the exploitation of the public by the unregulated industry in the UK (who have not written the WHO code into law) means that parents and families are lied to and taken advantage of. I think there should be much tighter regulation of marketing and advertising, blank packets, and an “NHS” formula available at cost price, anything beyond first infant formula (eg comfort, anti-reflux, hungry baby, CMPA milks) should be prescribed rather than OTC (mainly cause there’s no evidence for those first 3 products I’ve listed). The Lancet 2023 series on breastfeeding is an interesting read for anyone interested, as well as the book Why the Politics of Breastfeeding Matter.

I’ve followed Beth for a long time, she’s not the worst influencer out there IMO, she’s a pain in the arse and I don’t particularly like her, but some of her parenting styles align with mine. I’ve unfollowed now though. I’m really disappointed.

I cannot with her over exaggerated yawning in her recent ads. We get it hun you’re *tired*! Must be so hard being a working mum what with all these stressful child-free days out you keep having!
and I’m sorry but the fan ad- why does she have it outside?! I feel like even the toddler is looking at it like WTF.

PHAHAHAHA 'WORKING MUM' sorry but faffing about making tiktoks and given stuff for free to post about is not a Job.

I hate any influencer who uses the phrase 'this is your sign to....' in any content, sure I'd bloody love a date night with my husband (haven't had one of those in more than two years) but childcare isn't easy to come by and we definitely don't have the money to spend on meals out (nevermind six courses in a fancy place). I don't think we're waiting for 'signs' to come along from silly influencers we're just holding on to what we have at the moment and hoping that something somewhere along the line gets a bit easier and then maybe we might have the opportunity for an hour or two away from the kids.
