So true, you can tell the difference in the quality between vloggers like OA vs BLOB, both audio and visually. Spence and KT are too cheap and/or lazy to care about their audience and what makes an enjoyable viewing and/or listening experience. Why bother making a video and/or lives if it's out of focused and blurry, or if the sound quality has and "echo", making it unpleasant to listen to. Here is a clip of Spence and KT responding to a complaint about the sound quality, saying there was "too much echo" on his phone and his laptop, and their excuse is shocking. KT says she, "refuses to sit in front of a microphone, she can't do it, it looks weird." Spence lies as he explains that as YouTubers they go live randomly (not often), they don't need microphones while that sit at their kitchen table, unlike a podcast. KT: "Sorry bout it!"

Oh me too! 2019 was our last trip and instead of Disneyland this year, we are going to Yellowstone for the first time. Someday I want to go to the parks again, hopefully there will be less vloggers around by then, lol

It’s time to take the parks away from the vloggers. If we all start saying something it becomes a problem that Disney will have to deal with. If you walk by a streamer, say something, sing out loud. But don’t be an asshole to the point you get ejected. You shouldn’t stay away from the place you enjoy because of these idiots.

a couple things are apparent with these Two when it comes to editing:

the software they are using is trash (iMovie in my opinion is unusable - awful interface)

they are highly unorganized and don’t plan their shoots. They could make their lives easier with a simple shot list or bulk producing multiple non-eating videos in one shoot.

Spencer is shouldering the bulk of the production (shooting and editing). Hey KT - if all you did was dump, organize, and select the usable clips, that could help Spencer out quite a bit)

Hey Spencer - rather than copy other vlogger’s content, how about actually learning how to apply editing/storytelling techniques?

they do not have a catalogue of footage that includes establishments, closeups, etc. They waste so much time shooting the same locations over and over again. The Disney Parks do not change that much.

they DO NOT understand story/story arcs - it’s all basic stuff when it comes to vlogging.

and this is how I know they DO NOT CARE about anything to do with Disney. They choose to copy tit content from other vloggers rather than pull inspiration from anything in the Disney catalog?

these two need to hang it up.

ATW, has shown videos that he posted on his YT Channel that he shot and edited on his cell phone. I'm not saying editing is easy but ATW seems to do a good job on his iPhone than Spencer does editing with a camera. LOL!!!

Ironically (and embarrassingly) we made some Disney videos during our last trip as it was right when we started toying with the idea of a channel. We ended up privatizing all of them since.

I flirted with that idea too - seeing how my YouTube shorts explode when they are Disney - then I looked at ALL the other channels - and the work that would go into it - to do it right - and sheer amount of competition - hard pass. And it really ruined one of my trips - trying to worry about to film or not film - instead of just enjoying the experience. Plus I don't want to be one of those jackasses walking down Mainstreet talking to a camera with zero sense of awareness of my surroundings. Nah.

We did a VIP tour (Pre-Genie+) and it was nice to not worry about what to film and just running the whole day. No thanks.

There are a lot of rumors and/or speculation surrounding Kimberly McDonald Jewelry being a front for various illicit activities and/or possible ch**ld trafficking. Here is an example of a Pendant, it shows a list price of $49,950.00, it's way over priced for "just" the Pendant. Makes you wonder what drew KT to this site in particular, or why she would ever want to quote, promote such a company and/or want to be associated with them in any way? She is either, incredibly deranged or incredibly stupid or incredibly ignorant or all three.

Same. I have the videos to watch now if I want but honestly, I can't say I even remember that trip much versus previous ones. Life through a lens isn't much of an experience or living at all. Definitely not a best life. That's how I know their life is a sham. The only good part of their day is the carbs and receiving any "praise" to boost their ego. There's no way to be in the moment and enjoy things (or each other's company) if there's that 3rd wheel of a camera all the time.

You know, if a person makes Youtube a career and puts forth effort to entertain and inform, I think they DO deserve money and credit.

It's just so many of these Disney vloggers put the lowest amount of effort possible and act entitled to favors and support. BLAB just walks around doing nothing. No history, very little trivia, NO production value at all. It's just their faces BLABbing on and having the most surface level conversations pertaining to Disneyland.

If that's not bad enough, they act entitled and snooty about the whole thing.

Think about the timeline - they basically ignored patreon - used it as a tip jar. OK.

When did they go "full time" - 1 or 2 years ago?

They thought they had the views and superchats (and getting closer to that elusive 100K) to live off youtube income full time.

Totally ignoring the Sneeze on the High Seas - their views start to drop - they burn pretty much everyone they "partnered" with so they go back to Patreon - big push - need the money.

Then that more or less peters out - You KNOW they really believed WAY more people would sign up. They didn't - and certainly not for $40 a month (give me a break) so now:

Spence has to go back to work (ha!)
Going BACK to Vegas (hosted - lol)
and Taking more much needed time off.

I dunno - if I just started a job (getting hand outs on Patreon) and turned around and asked for time off - I wouldn't stay employed much longer.

This is why I appreciate Mondo, he’s ALWAYS wondering if we can see or hear. He is ON IT if something sounds bad during lives.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I've worked in a similar industry and typically you can accept jobs and they're particular durations. Sounds like the one Spencer took ends at the end of the summer, which is why he might be able to go to WDW for a full month in September/October.

That being said, you typically want to keep working to make as many connections as possible to have as many options as possible. Sure hope Spencer is putting some of that money away for retirement instead of month long vacations to Florida...

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I've worked in a similar industry and typically you can accept jobs and they're particular durations. Sounds like the one Spencer took ends at the end of the summer, which is why he might be able to go to WDW for a full month in September/October.
