I am actually shook after those two episodes. I dread to think what would have happened had Aesha not raised concerns and if the producers and cameras hadn't been there at that time either. Aesha and Jason dealt with it so well and Jason was right to remove him from the boat immediately. I can't imagine him working on another yacht again and as for Laura she's a whole other level of crazy...dangerous crazy. I think the crew and BD production team did a good job of highlighting how wrong their behaviour was.

Really hard watch, I saw the clip again online after and seeing the way he was acting leading up to it is scary too, very calculated and he thought the power cut happened in his favour

Such a yucky apology. 29 is old enough to know betttr.

Laura needs to be kicked off for what she said to margot. I was assaulted in a similar way by my roommates friend and all I heard when i said anything was what did you expect you were flirting with him, he is a nice guy, don't even dare to suggest that about him.

It was awful and made me feel so much worse.

As Bosun that power cut should have been his responsibility to help solve but he took advantage of it literally and even knowing there was a producer and camera crew right there. He'll wind up arrested one day.

Laura saw no wrong as she would then have to acknowledge her own behaviour was wrong. But glad they soon got rid of her too. I bet she text Luke straight away on leaving.

What I don't understand is why the producers didn't mention having to remove her from Adam's room to Jason? Or give more info on the Luke situ, like go straight to him about it rather than Aesha going to him. Do they try not to interfere too much? I'm glad they did actually intervene in both situations though, finally taking some responsibility after past criticisms.

Producers thankfully realised re they have a duty of care after the whole ‘Ashley and Gary’ consent concerns on SY.

Ah glad you could still get your Below Deck fix while away.

Personally, I do think both incidents were slightly different in the sense that Laura wasn’t naked and she wasn’t aggressive when the producers told her to leave. If that had been the only incident that night I don’t think it would have been as serious.
I feel like I’ll get hate for this because she’s a woman and he’s a man but it’s not about that.
Also, I would imagine the producers probably spoke to aesha about speaking to captain, whereas with Laura there were no other witnesses

Poor Margot after she found out what happened saying its my fault I flirted too much I was too drunk. Felt heart sorry for her 😞

I appreciate they were slightly different, even though she was touching Adam up in the hot tub too. But her morals are the same as his and if she saw no wrong in what he did she could easily do the same.

The problem with people like Laura is she will never be able to see how disgusting her behaviour is. That public “apology” is vile. She is utterly unhinged.
She clearly thought it was all a big joke, in fact I do wonder if she was purposefully playing up to the cameras the whole time like she was trying to play a “character”. However, that doesn’t change the fact her behaviour was absolutely disgusting towards Adam and Margot, and it will never excuse her for victim blaming or sexual harassment and I’m glad Jason was having none of her tit.
