Really hard watch, I saw the clip again online after and seeing the way he was acting leading up to it is scary too, very calculated and he thought the power cut happened in his favour
Producers thankfully realised re they have a duty of care after the whole ‘Ashley and Gary’ consent concerns on SY.
Personally, I do think both incidents were slightly different in the sense that Laura wasn’t naked and she wasn’t aggressive when the producers told her to leave. If that had been the only incident that night I don’t think it would have been as serious. As Bosun that power cut should have been his responsibility to help solve but he took advantage of it literally and even knowing there was a producer and camera crew right there. He'll wind up arrested one day.
Laura saw no wrong as she would then have to acknowledge her own behaviour was wrong. But glad they soon got rid of her too. I bet she text Luke straight away on leaving.
What I don't understand is why the producers didn't mention having to remove her from Adam's room to Jason? Or give more info on the Luke situ, like go straight to him about it rather than Aesha going to him. Do they try not to interfere too much? I'm glad they did actually intervene in both situations though, finally taking some responsibility after past criticisms.

Poor Margot after she found out what happened saying its my fault I flirted too much I was too drunk. Felt heart sorry for herLaura needs to be kicked off for what she said to margot. I was assaulted in a similar way by my roommates friend and all I heard when i said anything was what did you expect you were flirting with him, he is a nice guy, don't even dare to suggest that about him.
It was awful and made me feel so much worse.

I feel like I’ll get hate for this because she’s a woman and he’s a man but it’s not about that.
Also, I would imagine the producers probably spoke to aesha about speaking to captain, whereas with Laura there were no other witnesses
Completely agree with that and you can tell by what happened afterwards that she didn’t think she had done anything wrong which was the most concerning part.I appreciate they were slightly different, even though she was touching Adam up in the hot tub too. But her morals are the same as his and if she saw no wrong in what he did she could easily do the same.
