Often times if my parents or my boyfriend cooks, I’ll offer to do the cleaning up. During if I’m there while they’re cooking, or afterwards if I’m not. And they’ll often do the same for me. But it’s not a hard and fast rule like Becki is suggesting.

I would never presume someone else is going to clean up for me. I’m a clean as you go type of person anyway. When we were kids, my parents had a rule that us kids would have to do the dishes after dinner because they cooked. It’s not a rule when you’re a grown ass woman Becki.

Also odds on her cleaning up last night since her tea was made for her by someone else?
 
Some people generally follow the rule: they wash up if the other person cooks
I refuse to even thought my partner does the cooking because 1) he’s a messy fucker although I will clean the cooker and the wall and the cupboards because he doesnt do a good job 2) I clean everywhere else other than when he does the tidying up and hoovering in the living room
It gave me rage that becki thought she was exempt from washing pots because she uses EVERY pot and plate for her stupid videos.
If I was her mum I’d just not wash them. Fatty bum bum can’t do more cooking unless the pots are clean so she’ll have to do them herself two hours later anyway.
