I haven’t commented on Mollys thread because her content is just too boring for me. But her reel came up as suggested on my Instagram and I have never cringed so hard. Balloons and tears because she was away from her parents, by CHOICE as an ADULT for 3 months?!? Oh do me a favour. By Mollys age I had 2 children and had lived on my own for 3 years. My mum has a holiday house abroad and sometimes I don’t see her for months. If I turned up to the airport with balloons and tears my to greet her she’d have walked the other way pretending she didn’t know me

lots of people spend 4 months at uni without going home. It’s not that uncommon. And it seems like she called/texted them constantly. All such a drama and watching her throw herself on her mother and knock into someone else while doing it made me cringe. Have some self awareness

Bali vlog highlights:
* saying they never research taxis and end up getting ripped off. If only there were a way to solve that, like, maybe, researching it?
* dismissing the Cambodian currency as impossible to understand
* if anyone else is on the Niomi Smart thread you’ll enjoy the cliche smoothie bowl references
* uses a rain storm to justify eating in Hard Rock, their third Hard Rock trip of a three month holiday
* mentions 468965322 times that Bali is being treated as a holiday for them, it’s all about balance etc
* says the next vlog will be all about being immersed in balinese culture

It’s also the fact that she made both Tom and her dad film it. We’ve all discussed that people have been away longer (when I came back from my study year abroad me and my parents had a nice hug and got in the car
) but I know her mum isn’t used to being away so maybe the tears were real for Janine. But I’d be so annoyed if I was that emotional and my daughter’s boyfriend and my husband were both filming it just for some Instagram reel. It’s clear Molly cares more about the views than actually seeing her parents again.Unforgivingrose

Is she saying that because she didn’t go to uni that the reunion is more acceptable? Imagine being greeted this way when you come back from uni

What makes me laugh if that Tom's parents didn't come or at least aren't making a massive show. But to be honest I think my mum would react in the same way as Janine if I came back at 3 months away haha

She’s one of those people that just can’t live in the moment. Everything has to be filmed for Instagram/ YouTube / tik tok. It makes me sad that so many people are like this nowadays.Ngl the dog's excitement was cute, but why did she have to ruin it with the camera stuck to her hand for the first 10 seconds.
