I’ve noticed recently (and maybe it’s only me that’s irritated by it 😂) but she seems to love mentioning things about the 80s and 90s, yesterday she said she had an 80s look going because she had big hair and a bit of blue eyeliner. Liking the 80s and 90s isn’t ‘quirky’ or unique Molly!

Also, does she actually like the 80s and 90s or just the fashion aspect of it?
 
The amount of times she sais she is sick and cool in her new video is making me feel a bit sick. Youre not cool if you have to keep saying youre cool

Im embarrassed for her man she needs to find her own personality i stead of trying to rip others off it really dont suit her

I remember years ago her saying Jenny lived in Cottingham. Thought it was interesting that she’d been there and also posted on stories that Jenny dropped a present off for her “on her doorstep”. Wonder if they met up and if so why she would lie about it

Also like, I respect people who have done stuff to fill lockdown. The educators who have put out content, people like Joe Wicks with their workouts, etc. What has Molly done? Is every Skillshare/Peach Street advert meant to make me feel like I'm being entertained and getting value out of my time?
 
There has been so much on unfollowing influencers, people finally starting to realise that they're not all that, so I guess it's natural some who claim they don't break the rules, work hard etc think they are being unfairly lumped in with the whole Dubai situation.

I guess in a way, they are, but it's more than just Dubai. It's about people realising how toxic 'influencers' are. It's about influencers claiming they're working oh so hard and everyone should feel sorry for them, but really, comparative to many(most?) jobs, it's not as hard work as they're making out (especially thinking about all the people who are keeping the world going during a pandemic). It's about influencers, whether consciously or subconsciously, putting out the best version of themselves online, causing viewers to feel inadequate. It's about influencers taking their valid criticism and turning it into them being 'bullied' which affects their mental health (I'm thinking more unjaded jade and Sheridan on this morning here). It's about people finally realising that influencers are NOT as relatable as they thought. It's about the industry.

In most cases, it's NOT ABOUT the individual influencer. it's about the 'industry' as a whole and how damaging it is to viewers. There's nothing wrong with the tweet that she quote retweeted, all it said was that influencers who edit their photos add to body insecurities.

I don't dislike all influencers at all, like I said, it's not about the individual. There are plenty of influencers doing good, like Dr Alex, Joe Wicks. There are also influencers I just like to watch (as they provide me 'free content' while I'm 'stuck at home'!!!) like Fab Han, Lydia Violeta, and Grackle. It's funny how none of these complain like these other influencers complain.

As a final point, I'd like to compare this to the 'men are trash'/'not all men'. phenomenon. Men that know what they're talking about don't comment. Men that are part of the problem, say 'not all men'. In this case, it's 'not all influencers'...

Having said that, I wouldn't consider Molly an influencer, I'd consider her a YouTuber, but that's by the by.
 
Can someone remind Molly that in summer she broke all the social distancing rules as she hung out with her friends visiting different bars for her birthday? She's not so innocent.
I also get the impression she'd love to be a big influencer just like some of the ones going off to Dubai but people just don't care about her as much.

This share was the breaking point for me. I sent her a long message about how she still went on holiday during the pandemic, and acting like nothing has happened this year for her is incredibly insulting for people like me and my coworkers in a care home who couldn't have even fathomed going on holiday this year because of the risk to other people's lives. I understand she didn't go to Dubai but she still went to Portugal when cases were rising. She is in that category whether she likes it or not
 
I know exactly what you guys mean! She acts like she's the worst done to; always complaining that she's in Tier 3 even though she's from 'middle of nowhere'. And that nothings happened this year even though she's been gone on various of holidays and to every service station in England. Yet complains she's been hard done to. I think most of us would have loved the chance to stay at home during lockdown. I work in a Care Home like the person above and we're all mentally drained and exhausted. I'm not saying her job is easy as it must be difficult to come up with content especially when she's struggling with followers. Molly needs to think of the bigger picture and think herself lucky and fortunate although not just Molly but other 'influencers.'

She is so annoying. Fab Han (I feel) has been quite vocal about how she feels negatively about these crappy influencers swanning here there and everywhere, but hasn't tried to make out she's doing anything special or great because she's providing us stuff for free. Check your privilege Molly you work safely from home earning way over what you should for the tit you produce and the little work required. You have been on holidays, broken the rules MULTIPLE times to see friends and Tom. Go work a few days in the NHS or in a supermarket or as a delivery driver or a teacher then come back and moan about how hard it is that you are giving us 'free content' and being stuck at home and how hard it is. I would love this to be the end of influencers.
 
Molly would absolutely LOVE to be in Dubai if she could. She'd jump on a plane there tomorrow if she could. She's only posting about this stuff because she's not big enough to get invited on these trips, and she's jealous.

Also, if Beverley was such a small town she would realise it's even more important for them to be in high restrictions because it could be even more damaging for the virus to spread. My aunty and uncle live in a village that has less than 1000 people, and they've been in strict lockdown restrictions since November because it takes 30 mins or so at minimum to get to a hospital and even then that hospital is very small. If you put them in tier 1, people flock to visit there and go to the pubs/etc., and suddenly the entire population of that village is ill and having to be transported to a hospital that isn't fit to handle a sudden surge in people.
 
I just dislike her 'social media influencing is so hard and it's so boring right now :(' thing. We saw when Eve lived her life that most days Molly watches a fair bit of TV, goes for a long walk, and has time to read for pleasure with a few hours work, all for making a higher salary than a lot of us will ever make.
 
I dont even think she likes her ‘job’, she moans every week and never wants to come up with her own ideas always begging for video ideas. I think she sees all the richer ‘influencers’ and thinks that money must make people happy but jn reality shes miserable she even admits it and you can tell because she never smiles!
