I just don’t think you can sit in judgement without any proof, and as the days have gone by it looks more and more unlikely there actually isn’t any. We don’t know if the parents are telling the truth, they could be crack addicts out on the take themselves.
If there isn’t any proof of any wrong doing (it doesn’t have to be illegal) and it was all a load of made up rubbish, why wouldn’t the BBC come out and state that, or something to that effect? Then this whole thing could be wrapped up and then those concerned can go on and sue the Sun/the parents if it’s all been a lie.

More tolerant? I think its now the opposite people are now calling out awful behavior instead of keeping quiet
It‘s easy to spot when someone didn’t start work as a teenager in the 1970’s … and some of the stories my aged relatives tell of 1950’s workplace shenanigans that just get a wry smile and shoulder shrug would make your hair curl.

(My first day as an office junior involved being told how everyone took their tea, what time the post arrived, how to use the tannoy and who not to be alone in the kitchen with).

What do you guys think of that Indian article?
they reckon it’s John Kay.
I know we know who it’s likely to be like 90% sure.
Just curious to sound people off on other ideas.
I’m just going to throw in Jeremy Kyle, because although he has never had any kind of partnership with the BBC and is obviously not the person, I simply do not like him and feel like he is a nasty nasty piece of work.

Oh he’s definitely got Skellies lurking somewhere. You don’t have as long of a career as him portraying a ‘holier than thou’ persona without ANYTHING dubious.

Edit: I like to think Chase and Status rumbled him years ago. Check their video for ‘Let you go’. Way to accurate to be coincidence. 👀

Seems to me the sun ran a non story given the person involved told them it wasn't true and not to run it regardless of what the mum had said and whatever this evidence she has (if it's the son bank statements etc she has them without permission by the sounds) its his story not hers, all seems very strange and if true and HE lusting after young men its his poor wife I feel for and puts his reputation in disrepute either way whether morally or legally wrong

The BBC and the presenter might be taking legal advice. Issuing any statement at this stage denying everything won't make people say "ok, let's leave it at that, then."

Surely it is up to the people making the allegations to prove it's all true, not up to the person being accused to prove that it isn't.

It's like an Agatha Christie Whodunnit!

I still can't believe how the boy can afford such top prestigious lawyers. I think HE is paying. Jmo
Because lawyers take work pro bono.
he could have just had a free hour consultation.
It could be legal aid work.
There could be some sort of arrangement that payment is a percentage of any payout if pursed..
