lol I really don’t dislike her. I like some of her content and don’t think she’s a ‘bad person’ necessarily. But I just really really don’t understand why or how she thinks it’s normal to give her audience so much access to her daughter’s life. We shouldnt be seeing her birthday parties, we shouldn’t be ‘going along’ with them for days out, we shouldn’t know what she looks like or her name!!! She’s three and CANNOT CONSENT to any of this! In her job quitting announcement post she mentions how much her audience loves ‘our Darce’ - Maddy, you’re not an idiot, HOW can you think it’s normal that thousands and thousands of strangers ‘love’ your child???? I honestly would love her to ‘bite back’ and ‘correct’ me on this because maybe it would actually force her to think for one second about how much danger she is putting her daughter in and exploiting her (yes! It’s exploitation!) for clicks and money. Best case scenario she’s incredibly naive and immature, worst case scenario she knows this and just doesn’t care. Maddy, you can be a mum content creator (much as I find the idea grim) without giving god knows who far too much access to and information about your poor child who is growing up on the bleeping internet so that you can quit your day job.
