I don’t think they’ve turned against her. I think they know she brings in the clicks. It sounded like the podcast was just rehashing all the old info that’s already been reported a million times, nothing controversial.
Yes they knew she would bring them in subscribers to their new subscription. Just all old stuff and they label it as a “deep dive” 😂

Hilaaaaarious girls, hilarious! 🙄🫠

Has anyone listened to Clare’s new podcast as yet? I’m just listening to the first ep which is about herself, and it’s actually quite honest and refreshing. I grew up with friends who were twins and saw one of them really push ahead of her less outgoing sister in many ways and seeing echoes of this in Clare talking about her and Jessie. Quite fascinating really. Also I confidently feel that Clare is far less up herself and irritating than her sister after listening to this! Disclaimer, obviously MamaMia is still TRASH and they’re a terrible organisation to work for, hopefully she goes on to do something different in future. Keen to hear everyone else’s thoughts ☺️

Michelle and Zara were pretty gentle on Mamamia as a workplace considering they have bagged them profusely in the past. The whole Betoota interview was about how rat infested it was and they dedicated a whole chapter in their book to Mamamia, but now with Clare they are playing it all down.

I haven’t listened to the Shameless episode yet, honestly those girls annoy me even more than Jessie dare I say so I probably won’t listen to it 🤣 they never have any conviction in their opinions and are constantly backtracking. I did listen to the Betoota interview ages ago and found it enlightening. No surprise they’ve changed their tune now.

Google their Betoota advocate podcast interview. The Melbourne office has a rat problem and Sydney did nothing about it. They were brutal on their Betoota podcast, they said that when readership was low, senior editors at Mamamia would tell them to go on Reddit and find a 'dead baby's story to re-write (a story about stillbirth, miscarriage, etc) as they always rated well. I've hated Mamamia ever since I heard that. They also wrote about the rats in their chapter in their book

This was an interesting listen, thanks for the rec. It's funny that it seems so long ago when this was recorded but really wasn't.

I hate Mamamia and always have, I blocked them from ever displaying in my feeds or suggestions years ago and I'm truly not surprised they did this.
