My theory is that she shows off her wealth as a way to advertise herself. Some people will see how she's able to afford designer everything, ✨imported✨ nugget ice maker and cribs and all and think "well she has made a lot of money by taking her advice so maybe I can too".
 
She’s in her mid 30s (?) and has most likely been building wealth since her early 20s. Financial planners make fairly decent money and if she was investing from a young age she would have a fair bit behind her. She’s at the age where things get more comfortable anyway if you are in a week paying profession. On top of that she has a very successful podcast with various spin offs, a book that sold well and a podcast tour (massive money spinner).
She would be a multi millionaire by now. That’s why I personally find al the influencer grabby greed consumerist shite so galling. It’s pure greed. No one needs this tit.

She can maintain an emergency fund for her pet but can’t pay to have the dog sterilised to prevent pyometra in the first place? Get stuffed. Best believe if my dog was on death’s door with something that I could’ve prevented I would be cancelling whatever I could from my wedding (deposits be damned) instead of begging strangers for money. The nerve of some people 🙄

Amen to that. For people that care so much about their dog it sure does get out an awful lot and end up posted on their local lost & found pet pages…🤔

I’m happy for her that she’s successful. She worked her way out of debt and into wealth. But I can’t stand the influencing, when she’s already so rich, and then having the audacity to pretend she rarely accepts gifts. I can’t take financial advice from her seriously.

Did she work her way out of debt? I thought she came from a fairly wealthy family and hadn't heard her talk about overcoming debt before?
She certainly looks different without the botox, seeing her face move is refreshing.

She often talks about being bad with money and being in debt in her early twenties, but I don’t know if she’s ever put a figure on it before, so maybe it wasn’t a lot and it’s just a good story to tell if you’re trying to sell someone financial advice 😅
 
Looks like Shameless are expanding their team. I do really enjoy the podcast, but lately I think they are taking on a lot of new things. Maybe just trying to capatilise as much as possible on their current success?

The shameless women have a good strategist. I think they learnt from their mamma Mia days to think big and they are not just winging it. However, I think they need another successful podcast to go with shameless. Their book one doesn’t hit the spot and they suck at interviews. I they need more quality content to justify growing. Maybe they are producing podcasts berg behind the scenes.

Re Victoria Devine… I was waiting for her Botox to fade. It’s full on. Is she in labour? Here comes the only person to have given birth ever.
 
Victoria Devine - here I was thinking she must be somewhat smart to have her businesses and education but is she bleeping stupid? She just deliberately jumped and landed on her pregnant belly then jumped on the bed for good measure. Yes landing on a mattress but it’s not a cloud of marshmallows, it’s still an impact to her pregnant belly. I’m baffled as to how someone could be so clueless as to think that’s a good idea when pregnant. Especially someone who has had previous losses and already having issues with high blood pressure etc.
 
High Scrollers… any good? I generally like pop culture wrap-up podcasts (like Shameless) but I’ve tried to listen to a couple of eps of HS… I’m not sure yet… does it take them a while to get to the topics?

I listen every week and enjoy it but I don’t care about the topics I def only listen because it’s Brittney and Alrighthey and I love them both have followed for like 10 years. I could care less about what is trending on TikTok but hearing the stories and jokes they make around it is what I listen for. If you want a pod that will keep you up-to-date on trending topics I wouldn’t waste your time because sometimes they don’t even go into it very far they just use it to talk about themselves, which is not a dig its actually what I like about it I guess

I actually don’t mind this one. It’s not one I super look forward to and listen as soon as it drops but I definitely have listened to every episode and don’t turn it off like the others.

I hate how they’re telling people to sign up again for info on this new podcast and also sign up separately for that new pop culture newsletter they recently set up, just use your existing database
