From blood tests the gender can be determined earlier than in a scan. I think these tests are only offered privately.

The NHS will start to provide it soon across the board, not just in special cases, they have been saying they will for years. god I hope she gets a boyI was told (here in NI) that results can take between ten days and three weeks, but that was a little over 18 months ago. Not sure if that varies by area?
Me too! I honestly don’t think she’d have proceeded with the pregnancy if it was a boy. She was gutted when she found out about Alf - no way she would want that againHaving a big old stalk of her first pregnancy highlight. So funny seeing these pics - I could actually see Alf looking like that! Also that she wanted a girl so badly she was planning to get pregnant again quickly, if she was aiming for a one year age gap! So seems like this was the plan all along
