Not trying to be insensitive here, but she can't have been that far along and it's
I assumed she was 5 days late for her period, it came and she’s making a story
Not dismissing anyone's experience but isn't it extremely common in the first 8 weeks and most women don't even know they were pregnant? It's sad of course, but not at all like losing a baby in the latter stages when it's viable.

I take it you've never been pregnant or suffered a loss?....it's heartbreaking especially if it's a much wanted baby irrespective of how long you might be especially when you have symptoms but not yet showing

It doesn’t seem too heartbreaking for Ashley. Or a much wanted baby. I’ve had a couple and kind of just cracked on, but I know people who have a miscarriage all the way up to 24 weeks and none of them wedged it into an insta story between how glad they were to leave their child for their first weekend away

Nope I haven't. Never wanted kids. I've suffered lots of losses in life however! I don't think what I said suggested it isn't heartbreaking, just different. That's if you read it properly.

I think the way she has framed it shows either that she's trying hard to be ok about it (and perhaps on the inside is struggling more than she wants to let on) or the baby wasn't planned therefore she hadn't got to a stage of seeing that baby as being in her life. I know from personal experience that I couldn't have done a single screen story like that about any of the losses I have had, and it's even more unusual given how long-winded she normally is about everything!
I feel sorry for her, a loss is a loss no matter how early it was, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I think she’s the kind who hates the baby phase but wants a sibling for Alf (or Tommy really does) and so she thinks if she just does it all in one big go (ie 2 close together) it will be hard but then it’ll be done and she can leave that baby phase behind.

i see it a lot with women who hated the baby bit. But then it’s not just twice as hard having 2 little ones, it’s ten times as hard.

a lot of people just want it done but it’s naive imo

I hated the pregnancy bit so did it very quickly to get it over and done with. She will find it a lot harder to find people to watch 2 young kids instead of just parenting Alf for her

Excuse my ignorance, I’ve been fortunate enough to not have ever had a miscarriage but how can you call it a miscarriage if it was very early and didn’t even have a positive test? Would it be a heavier than normal period?

It’s possible that her period was different and that led her to test. Or maybe she was a few days late and tested, then miscarried within a couple of days.

Is there anything worse than a Mum show off 🤦‍♀️

From her stories she said it would’ve been hard if they were ‘really trying’ so it sounds like it wasn’t an accident, they were just casually trying. I honestly can’t believe it - she hasn’t stopped talking about how she’s hated motherhood, wants her life back, constantly wants to be away from Alf… Why why why would she want to get pregnant again now and have 2 under 2???

Anyone remember when she used to put up extracts from those books about how it affects babies brain if they cry and how baby should be close to mum at all times. Along with the controversial formula/co sleeping posts. Not bothered about dumping him off now tho. Don’t have another child please
