Their house is very much divided isn’t it

maybe if Tommy had got the dolls house he would of done a better job, she admitted herself in his birthday post that the dolls house has mismatched/missing furniture, it’s not like she/they can’t afford to buy more!

house still hasnt sold and I cant for the life of me understand how their finances will work after. 1.2mil will get them a townhouse in south london or east/north but only in zone 3-4. Its gotta be east for Nana access. unless Ashley is planning to move back in to her flat and tommy is getting the house money to buy himself something and be the primary caregiver. The more i think about it the more i think its financing a separation. im sorry but needing to be in london is not a reason for selling a huge just renovated property that is only 30 mins from Liverpool st. Especially when you consider that Essex is a very desirable place to raise a young family (good schools inc grammar schools).

I suspect Ashley will make a big show of Ada's first birthday just as you say here, she'll frame it as the 'last first birthday for her babies' or some such nonsense and that'll be her reason for doing a celebration. While we all recognise it's just that Ada is the golden child for her. Ashley may even be marking the time that she was 'healed' by her saviour daughter 🤮

I just don’t get it. When my kids get birthday presents it’s from the whole family (siblings etc). You don’t say ‘this one’s from mummy and this one’s from daddy’. I wonder if they’re ‘uncoupling’? Seems to me like the are! Madness.
 
The dolls house was from both of them but because Tommy gets him up, he’s the first person Alf sees so Alf (bless his heart) says thank you to daddy. She will think it’s to do with the patriarchy and Tommy gets the credit where poor old ash doesn’t. I am back to feeling really sorry for Tommy. I know he is enabling her but she must be such a nightmare to live with!

Sorry if this has already been said, I’ve been reading but might have missed it.
I always thought people’s birthdays are special because they’re… you know… the day that person is born. Is the only “special” or noteworthy thing about Alf that he’s a firstborn?!

Some observations as I’ve been missing a while

-poor Alf still looks homeless
-the audacity of her trying to make his birthday all about her. She really has no self awareness.
-this could potentially be the first pair of shoes they’ve bought Alfie in years
-what on earth is a “new soul”
-the crunchy curls are getting worse by the day
-I saw the trolley they bought Alf in the under 1s area in my local soft play

Well she has the opinion that Ada is an old soul, so I guess by her logic of them being the exact opposite, that would make him a new soul, which is just nonsensical bollocks 😂
