I don't think poor little Alf agrees with her. Also Ashley you don't go for free your Auntie PAID for it. You know that concept where you hand money over for something in return?

You can tell she doesn’t know many mums. She thinks ‘most families’ have toddlers who wake at 7:30am and Alfs the ONLY one to ever wake at 5:30 for the day 😂😂
Enjoy your much needed nap Ash after 8 hours of sleep. Some of us have been up since 5:30 with toddlers!!!

Pretty sure ‘big lump’ Alf will be past the safe weight limit of those. They’re designed for babies who can sit on their own but you don’t want to put them on the floor whilst you get changed… not for almost 3 year olds who can walk 🙄

I hardly think Alf is the type of toddler to run off despite Ashley saying he's full of energy. Where was Tommy? Ah he'd be taking the photo silly me.

I think highchairs can vary with kids Alfs age. Mine won’t entertain a highchair anymore so hes at the big table with older siblings. He has the mobility and balance to not fall off the benches we have. I don’t think Alf would have the means or mobility to support himself. I do also think she’s just having him contained. 2 people looking after 2 children just isn’t enough 😒

My 3.5 year old goes in his old one if his 18m old sister gets mad about going in hers (she won't eat at a chair.) He barely fits and we've tried so hard. Like 3 times a week he wants to get in it. He's been at the table since he was 2 then madame came along 🤣🤣 when we're out though he's never in it and with ash, shell have him it it for as long as possible.
 
Even my 19mo would kick off if I tried to strap him to a wall! And he knows sometimes he has to wait for me, or I give him a little job or toy to distract him if I’ve got my hands full for a second. All the influencer parents love containing their kids as long as they can rather than encouraging their development and independence. Don’t get me wrong it makes life easier when they’re not running 100mph but they’re people not props! It really annoys me. It’s been months since I got a great photo of my little one because he doesn’t sit still long enough for photos but these people would rather stunt their kids development than miss the chance of an instagram pic!
 
Her comment about spending time with TNBs friends and their kids and how nice it is for people who have friends who are parents that live nearby. Ash, you could have parent friends who live near you, but have made absolutely no effort to meet anyone. She says it as if other people are so lucky to be in that position, but the truth is that the majority of those people have deliberately gone to baby groups etc., to build friendships and a support network. You have to make an effort, and it doesn’t just benefit you, it helps your kids learn to play/socialise with other kids.
 
I don’t really understand why they moved to Brentwood when they know no one there, and she isn’t prepared to make new friends.

But then I suppose they couldn’t afford London, and Frinton isn’t cool enough/too far a commute for when TNB can’t work in the shed.

Just seems weird that an Essex boy who actually seems to be able to make friends as a functioning adult, doesn’t have any local mates - unless they all dislike her.
