She's really pushing the view that it's so so hard for her to be a parent and also work, but in reality she needs to realise how fortunate she is - she has money so can afford childcare for Alf not only during the day but also on the evening, she has Tommy's family close enough so that they help her out as and when she needs it (often imo doing too much so Ashley doesn't have to do much), she has (or had) a cleaner so doesn't have to worry too much about that day to day, her partner seems to be endlessly supportive of this 'career' that she insists on having despite him having a full time role, her working hours are reasonably flexible and she's able to pick and choose what work she does (and I do appreciate that being self employed doesn't always mean as much flexibility as some might assume) and she never seems to even do her own hair and makeup.
Her trying to create a drama out of her outfits not showing up and not having much time for her playlist selection is all a bit much for me, she's still made the most minimal attempt to look after both her children together and doesn't seem to want to change that situation.... she's just about the least relatable mother around!
