This answer also really, really bothered me. I eat and drink what I want in pregnancy. It's just such an ignorant statement.

I have had family members who drank through their pregnancies and tried to pressurise me into drinking when I was. I refused. But, I've seen how first hand alcohol affects the baby. And also, risk of toxoplasmosis / listeria is REAL. In my opinion, if you cannot give up alcohol or foods which carry risk for 9 months, then you are far too selfish to be a mother.

Although, we all know that Ash is selfish, so she will do what she wants and to damn with any consequences that could harm her unborn baby llike travelling to a remote Zitka island at 30 weeks pregnant because she NEEDED a holiday.

So now she's talking about anyone planning a vaginal birth to get an Epi-no device to prevent tearing during birth ( cost £99) ....apparently she'd recommended to use one when pregnant with Alf , but didn't bother using it as of course Ashley know best...her mantra "what's the worst that could happen" ....and what happens , she tears and is still harping on about how she was stitched incorrectly she wasn't!
How does she know it works if she didn't use it in the first place 🤣🙄

and she doesn't provide any data to back up her claims that it prevents perineal tearing ....or which countries provide better post natal care!
I did find this trial abstract which actually shows it does not provide any benefit!....yes Ash, I have done my research because that's actually my job!
How can you recommend something that you didn't even use?! HOW? I am baffled 🤯

She has absolutely no idea of the dangers does she?
It was a ‘short flight’ to the nearest hospital, ok and what are their NICU like? Do they have one? Would she have been ok with staying there for 3+months?
I’d hate for anything to ever happen to her but she is so bleeping deluded & has the attitude of “it can never happen to me” 🤬

Which is why I’m guessing she thinks her c-section will be similar to a 5 ⭐ hotel stay and her recovery will be magical 💫 💫

I worked with a parent who took their 5week old abroad to turkey, the baby got bronchiolitis and they had to stay 6 weeks in the hospital out there and her breathing now at 5 whenever she gets a cold is still horrific.
But of course Ashley is going to take her abroad alone not long after birth when you’re not meant to carry anything for a good few weeks 😒
The baby won’t even be fully vaccinated 😖 why the duck would you risk it? She should never have had children she’s a selfish, evil bleep. I can’t even put into words how I feel about her DRUGGING her son so that SHE can have a nice and easy flight x however many it took to get to that ridiculous destination. How can she possibly justify that. A paracetamol overdose is so dangerous. And why is she lying about the Zika virus risk and the Maldives? I dread to think how many women will take her word for it after her unsolicited advice 🙈 She needs taking off of social media!

I did find this trial abstract which actually shows it does not provide any benefit!....yes Ash, I have done my research because that's actually my job!...

Interpretation of results
This large multicentre randomised controlled trial has failed to find any evidence for a protective effect of the antenatal use of a vaginal balloon device, the Epi-No, on pelvic floor structures in primiparae giving birth to a term singleton after uncomplicated pregnancies. This is true for levator avulsion, levator hiatal overdistension and clinical perineal trauma. We did identify a marginal negative effect of EpiNo use on significant residual EAS defects diagnosed on average 5 months after childbirth, but this finding may be spurious,
Concluding message
We have been unable to confirm a protective effect of the EpiNo device for pelvic floor structures during vaginal childbirth.

bottom line is....save your money!

So she’s being paid to advertise it then!

Thank you, for always being the voice of (medical & scientific) reason.

Especially for kindly & patiently putting out the many fires that careless, thoughtless, mindless & selfish Ashley starts along her foolhardy way.

Omg yes! We had a holiday booked to the Maldives, I fell pregnant and we postponed it because of possible zika virus. Ended up with a worse hotel deal as prices went up but my god I didn’t even consider going whilst pregnant a possibility 🤯

It looks like she didn’t know there was a Zika risk! She posted this today, giving advice not to travel to a zika country, with a photo of her in a Zika country!
A quick google search tells you it’s a country at risk 🥴 Surely her doctor told her this? How could a doctor worth their salt possibly sign her off to travel to a place that is affected by the virus 😳🤯 Did she lie to the doctor about where she was going?

she talked about that epino device whilst pregnant with alf. she used it back then but we all know trashley is a pathological liar
I swear she said she used it in a recent post where she was justifying the c section! Along the lines of ‘I had a positive mindset, used an epino and ran marathons but still had a traumatic birth!’ And now she’s trying to flog it even though she admitted it does duck all 😂

The fit to fly certificate doesn’t say where you are going I don’t think? So she will have used the same one for France and the Maldives.

Plus her certificate puts her due date 2 weeks later.

It’s literally just letter that says ‘Ashley is fit to fly’ as in you don’t have any known pregnancy complications or pre-existing conditions. They don’t really assess you, it’s mostly just a money making thing.

Possibly she only told them she was going to France to see NNB….? Technically that’s all she had booked when she got the fit to fly - so she’ll think that’s okay to just say France.

The fit to fly note doesn’t say where you are going I don’t think? So she will have used the same one for France and the Maldives.z

Yes but for a doctor to sign off on a weekend in France is so different to 10 days long haul to the Maldives!
