the only shocking thing for me was mrmr when from wearing hijab so properly, no hair showing to wearing sleeveless tops in a matter of a month. i thought she would maintain a bit of modesty. she still dresses relatively modest but is more showing more skin than i would have expected. she used to post her daughters and share more personal anecdotes and advice, now it's all business. i heard she removed it bc her father was extremely religious and after he passed away she was able to remove it. don't know if its just gossip though. is she still married? i don't follow her closely anymore so not sure but a lot of women change following a divorce..

I am positive that I heard years ago that she only wears it on social media and heard people saying that she don't wear it when she travels, some saw her in london without it and I believe I heard this thing before the virus.

I am not surprised at all it was a matter of time, I expected them to end things earlier, if you follow them you will notice the shift in energy between the two, i felt that their relationship was over even before she removed her hijab.

I feel that just like many others in the GCC, they got married really young and at a point when both didn't really discover themselves or what they want in life, and once they started to live their lives the way they want, especially ascia changing almost everything about herself, they had to part ways because of their differences.

at the beginning of their marriage i felt that she married him because he's mixed and she saw a way for freedom.

Didn’t someone just say divorce favors the men in the khaleej? That men can get full custody easily? Is that true? Is divorce different there then in the west for example? Curious how it works? Do you just split assets down the middle?

We don't know what really happened between them. These are all just assumptions and what not. He was always half Spanish and she was always half American. They got married at a really young age by choice, no one forced them to get married. The average age of marriage for Kuwaiti women is 26 not 18. They were always childhood friends they grew up together, his dad was her dad's friend. They used to play together when they were little kids.

Regarding Ahmad's family and his friends shaming ascia because of how she looks, we don't know that really happened. Once again these are just assumptions. We literally don't know anything about his family or him. Some Kuwaiti families don't care about the hijab thing many girls here recently took off the hijab. The tattoo thing ascia does seem to go overboard with it but it's not that big of a deal really.

Kuwaiti people are more "westernized" than other Khaleejis so maybe for qatar and uae ascia would seem way too much for the citizens and locals society. Here in kuwait no one genuinely cares about her tattoos and clothing style. She is not the first nor last Kuwaiti girl with that type of boyish look. at my workplace there are several Kuwaiti girls who dress in a boyish way and sport several tattoos

Divorce laws in Kuwait favor women far more than men. Men have to pay ridiculous amounts on a monthly basis for years to their ex-wives covering rent, school, childcare, maids salary, personal chauffeur/driver salary, on and on. Legally, all men must pay their ex-wives the salary of two maids and one driver. It doesn't matter if the wife is a millionaire with a job that pays 10x what he makes. He's on the hook and it's not by choice.

Nothing is special about her really, maybe because of her aesthetics? I like to take a look at her pics from time to time since I like the vintage Mediterranean aesthetics, but looks wise I saw her in ads for lenses and she looks nothing like her edited pics. I don't like her face.
