I just want to know who she hired to decorate the place looked stunning!! Is that her house or a venue?
It seriously was so stunning!

The event looked gorgeous but i'm confused is it her house? It doesn't look like a home.
I don’t think it was her house? It looked like one of those rental homes. She has that open sunroom in the middle of her home and her pool is in the back not in the middle, like this one does. Maybe it’s one of her and her husbands’s many homes lol

last supper b4 ramadan or smth so they have a party

It’s not even confirmed Ramadan is tomorrow in kuwait, and also there will be plenty of gbgha all month so expect to see the same. Khalijis make me laugh, in a month of repentance and observing fasts, strengthening one’s relationship with the almighty, studying Quran etc b3ed maghrib they forget all of that and dress up, go to dinners where music is playing, food is thrown away. Literal hypocrites. Not all are like this but the majority yes.

What was the purpose of this party? I didn’t quite understand .. what was she celebrating with all these traditional singers and dancers ?
What’s graish in Kuwaiti culture?
It’s actually really nice. Graish is like the last hurrah before Ramadan but women only party. You eat, dance, and you have to wear the traditional daraa. It’s really beautiful

I thought they confirmed it’s April 2nd? Al-Arabiya confirmed in KSA that it’s Saturday. I see what you’re saying and in terms of food waste, the Middle East does a piss poor job about it, but Graish, I think, is nice. I feel that it celebrates Ramadan in a way. Ramadan is about togetherness and one’s relationship with Allah, but also spending time with people you love.

So so true!!!
To be honest I didn’t like her outfit. It was like a light blue and I just think that color didn’t suit her at all

Did you guys see Roz’s snap with Steve Aoki and she wrote “stay tuned” lol I wonder what that’s about

No, that is literally not what Ramadan is about lol, let’s not twist a significant month of the Islamic calendar into something it’s not now x

Yes i agree! At least a week before you should start preparing for Ramadan. Preparations such as making up for your fasts that you missed from the previous year, reading quran, spending time with your family. I mean there's so many things to do and partying isn't one of them. Celebrations should be after Ramadan. This my opinion so please no one be offended but partying before Ramadan seems uncultivated. It doesn't even make sense. I guess it's different for every nation.

The thing about culture is that not everyone will like/dislike the same stuff, that's why we have diversity. In the Quran or Hadith's it does not say we should spend the last week before ramadan a certain way, so we shouldn't limit what others do just because they might not align with our views/morals.
I understand why the ladies would want to have parties before ramadan starts. Ramadan can be grueling for some, I see it as these ladies want to make sure they're excited and happy going into Ramadan. Ramadan can be hectic for many women, so they don't always get to enjoy iftaar or other ramadan events before Eid.
Music is heavily debated among the scholars in islam and their "dancing" was pretty much them swaying in place and nothing crazy enough that it looks un-islamic
Sorry for the rant, its just I've been in a place where my mental health wasn't good during/before ramadan so I know how helpful it is to have a positive friend group to help get through it

Sorry i didn't mean to say that the Quran says what we should do before Ramadan. I only meant this for my family and I. Every family is different of course.
