This thread 👏. Funny how not one thing the conspiracy theorists have said would happen in the past month hasn't happened, and they say is all part of the plan. I'm baffled by some of the things I have read here on the conspiracy thread and come across on IG. I'm not necessarily looking for this content, but I do somehow come across it and it make me laugh. I di upload a video to the COVID thread that was possibly best posted on the conspiracy thread. And someone commented I was delusional. Like really? The video I uploaded was someone saying that in the next 3 months: Bojo stepping down and collapse of UK government, Trump being inaugurated, JFK returning as he is not dead, we will be made aware of all the extra terrestrial life governments are in contact with, all of the children that abducted (yearly) will be coming out of the 'tunnels' where they have been sleeping, and all of the breathing machines that are not actually for COVID patients are being used to wake them up. But ok, I'm delusional. I'm making a mental note to reply to that person at the end of March 21 to see how much of that has happened. In the meantime, I will protect my loved ones and everyone else by taking the necessary precautions to pass on the virus. And wait patiently for my vaccine (chip).

Has anyone watched or seen Jason Nota on Facebook? My friend sent me one of the videos trying to prove something. He is the most angry, foul mouthed person I’ve seen in a while. A huge conspiracy theorist. Anyway he claimed he was off to parliament to stop the vaccines becoming mandatory on the 6th Jan, of course nothing happened and he didn’t go himself but incited many others to say they would be there. I told my friend never to send me his stuff again as clearly he’s just a raving maniac. But if anyone wants a look at some crazy conspiracist look him up.
 
Ahhh I love this thread. I've always found conspiracy theories a bit of fun but there's a world of difference between "the moon landing was faked" and "Hillary Clinton rips the faces off children and wears them as a mask to stay eternally youthful".

The conspiracy theory thread here is mad. There's no arguing with any of it, because that's what they WANT you to believe. People also move incredibly quickly - someone will post a video saying, for example, the US military created coronavirus, with "hmm, what do you think?" Then a week later the same person will say, "So as we all know, it's been confirmed that the US military created coronavirus..." No it hasn't! You watched one mad video last week!

There's also a very, very strong strain of anti-semitism underlying many of these theories. No, the world isn't controlled by Jewish bankers. Cop on.

Not here to critise any other threads, this is about social media in general, but it’s true,
if you question or ask for more information on a subject it does NOT go down well.

And I suppose it is derailing and annoying for them, especially if they have no proof to offer but believe what they’re saying.
And again I’m talking about online in general not just on here.
There are innocent theories that nobody should give a damn about, but lately, a lot of them can’t be seen as “innocent” and that’s worrying if you can’t trash it out.

so this thread was born 😂

I genuinely think the fact that people get so angry when challenged is because they have some kind of personality disorder, I’m no expert on this kind of thing to say what but when I look at the people who constantly post on Facebook they are the same ‘types’ and let’s just say most of them are not very well educated, mainly drop outs from my school lol.

As many of you have said there’s definitely some interesting conspiracy theories out there that hold some weight but the ones that have anything to do with COVID and the Great Reset (which does exist, just not in the context they believe) being some kind of NWO is bonkers. I watched so many videos on YouTube 10 or so years ago about this NWO stuff and I was scared to sleep for days, part of me believed it and I was really worried but in the end common sense overruled.

I would normally agree with this 100% but my husband is a witness in court next week, and the information sheet from the court was typed in Comic Sans 😂. Perhaps it's a sign...they do always say that judges are part of the conspiracy...

The stupidest one that I’ve seen since the pandemic started was a very dodgy looking video of a man taking the wire out of a disposable mask, soldering it to a usb drive I think it was and then plugging it into his computer where it bought up loads of random non sensical data but did manage to spell out the word covid 19. The person who posted it believed it so wholeheartedly and said that the government were stealing data from us through disposable masks. I shook my head in disbelief that anyone could be so stupid as to believe that a bit of wire in a disposable mask could store any data or indeed even gather data from I guess our breath? 🤦🏻‍♀️Or maybe they thought it was for tracking I don’t know but it’s quite possibly the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen ever. The video itself was as dodgy as you could imagine! It’s scary what people will believe.

OMG!!! this is a good one. Bet he doesn't he can be 'tracked' even without a mask. I mean, he's using FB probably on a smart phone😂

Well exactly, all the information anyone could ever wish to know about us is usually on our mobile devices. I had so many questions 🤣 I mean...what about all the masks that get thrown in public bins or discarded. How do the government looking at the data on the mask🙄 know who it belonged to? What does it tell them? Where you’ve been? What you’ve said? Honestly I just can’t 🙄🙄😬

Also what kind of shady business do people do to be so worried the government are tracking? Like even if the government microchipped me, what will they find out? Salary gets paid in to bank so HMRC and bank records track almost everything to do with my spending, my phone can track my location and conversations, even my car has GPS so could probably be tracked. Youre on CCTV god knows how many times a day (mask wearing actually makes it harder to track me on this but the CTs miss the irony there when they’re screaming about not wearing them), I’m sure if they wanted to access health records they could already do so and likewise get DNA through my dentist or whatever. My passport tracks which country I am in. If I was a criminal then fair enough I’d be trying to avoid some of these things hence most criminals use false IDs, Nokia 3310s and cash only but are all these CTs criminals?! No.
I don’t have anything to hide beyond what they could already access through systems we have in place I really don’t know what microchipping me (a very average person) would achieve? Most of the CT believers I’ve seen a year ago would post their every freaking move on Facebook anyway!

This 100%. I always think what is it you’re worried the government are going to know about you. Boris could follow me around personally if he wanted and read my every text and email and he’d be bored to death. But I also think about these things when they call us sheep. Unless you’re living in the woods completely off grid, I’m assuming the majority of the conspiracy theorists are employed, pay tax, have a national insurance number, use the NHS, abide by most of the rules and laws of the country...we’re all ‘sheep’ to some extent so I think it’s a bit ridiculous that they call us sheep just because we don’t watch videos made by strangers on YouTube and believe things that don’t even make sense or can be easily debunked.

I enjoy reading about conspiracy theories, most I find completely ridiculous (but entertaining to read about) and there are a few I can sort of get on board with. I’m in total agreement with everyone here who has said that it’s impossible to have a measured discussion or debate about any of the theories because you’re then just labelled a sheep, even though the only ‘evidence’ they have is a random video by someone with zero expertise or qualifications found in the depths of the internet.

I’m also genuinely concerned for the mental health of some of the CT posters (on tattle but also social media) who state that they’ve accepted life will never get back to normal and are preparing for the NWO, the Great Reset etc. I mean that sincerely because if I believed what they believe, I’d be very frightened and in a dark place. I think that is the point where conspiracy theories go from being a bit of fun and an entertaining topic of conversation to being dangerous.
 
I also don’t believe that everything is exactly as it seems or we are told, I’m sure governments and officials within do some terrible things that we don’t know about and I do believe that the status quo is dictated by people “higher up” than just the one man who is President or PM etc. I just don’t think for a second that these things are “leaked” to the extent that Dwayne from Texas or Debbie from Stockport knows all about their plans and schemes but the rest of the world dont!
