I’m 2/3 of the way through listening to her interview on a (frankly terribly amateur) podcast called “Uncensored”
I’ll post my blow by blow notes once I’ve finished, but one massive takeaway is how despite viewing herself as open minded and free, Scammie is so incredibly naive, traditional and conservative (and not particularly bright).
I think that her MLM years - and talking on stages, attending their conferences etc - has given her a wildly inflated sense of self and her “success”.
She is trying so so hard to present an IG life of abundance and success, to help sell her SLS and coaching container - her message is very much “look what an amazing life I’ve created for myself despite a dreadful upbringing. Follow the steps I’ve taken and you can have the same” - yet if you look behind the “gloss”‘it’s a very sad life that she leads ….
It’s all a sales pitch - and, worse - I think that she genuinely believes in her own bullshit.
She’s thinks that she’s qualified to give (predominantly) women advice and coaching because of her lived experience and hours (and dollars) that she’s spent on life coaching to heal her “core wounds” and discover her divine feminine - while proclaiming to “love science” these two principles are rooted in anything but science.
I mean - let’s face it - would you rather “do the work” with an NLP trainer, who’s done 30 hours of study (if that) versus a trained psychologist and/or counseller who’s done 1000s of hours of training?

Great article. Gee, it’s not like Scammie to be promoting something that is inaccurate and dangerous, placing victims at higher risk. Lol. I just went down a rabbit hole on Trudie Marie’s Insta (who sadly seems to have gone down an MLM doterra and word salad path, will be offering coaching in the next few months obviously). She has just done an incredible 9 week hike, good on her. The funniest thing was her arrival home where she is welcomed by her family and friends (also lovely) and she has a bottle of Veuve she’s opening and says she is ‘going to celebrate Anna Rose style” and someone in the background says “Anna what?”
