The earthquake was really intense!! There is no way she didn't feel anything...I believe/guess she just went to turkey for a few days and now she is pretending she is still there... and had no clue about the EARTHQUAKE

I guess this is why she’s so secretive with her surname. With the name Lauren alone its impossible to find information on her online and by not disclosing her new surname, it’s hard to cross reference. Smart tactic and it really worked for her. I don’t know how the person found her old surname, they must know her personally.

Yes since she and Anna changed their last names it seems as though they want to keep a squeaky clean image of grace and elegance. Another thing they have in common

The damage it’s done looks awful, and they’re not sure if there’s any casualties yet. I know it’s not Anna’s fault that she happens to be there when this has happened, but if she continues to just post stuff about her day and scenery when that’s happening not that far away, it’s a bit disgusting and very distasteful imo.
 
Regarding the meaning of high society/affluent people: just like most people, I directly thought of old money. But in her first course, she said there are different types of affluent people (tech, music industry, bankers, old money...)
So basically, to Anna, high society = rich. That's all.

So when she says she's part of affluent/ high society, it just means she knows rich people. Not that they have influence over a social group (too bad) or are well integrated.

Now why doesn't she openly clear this up you ask ? Because it sells more of course!


Regarding Lauren: it just shows what Anna preaches can work. Did it work for her ? That's up to debate, but given the fact she sometimes says one thing and then does another... 🤔

She did. After posting the picture with the BBC news and thanking people for asking she continued with her life.. buggy life. As if all is business as usual
