Imagine launching a brand 3 weeks too late due to a technical malfunction, allegedly, and then posting on IG that this will be the only clothing line she will ever launch, just to post one week later a story on IG where she is announcing new dresses.

Wheeew, the second hand embarrassment I got....Chile. This is clownery at its best...or worst. Just embarrassing. At some point you will start looking like a clown and she have reached that point.

There is no office, no employees (look at the "careers" page on annbey.com...lol really, where are the benefits?), no home tour, really nothing to see, no luxury, no wealth. I just can't see it.

I mean sure, she is trying to be funny, but it just feels weird. Her dog in the place of her meal companion? Did Ted pick up the tab? Where's Joe, Anna? She used to always mention her husband so much, so if she were a happily married millionairess with an adoring husband he wouldn't mind being featured in her videos... oh but wait, she isn't happily married, is she? We haven't seen an arm in ages!
I think very often it is Banana who dresses costumey and a bit out of place. Pot, kettle. Faking riches has been Anna's schtick for a while, why is she so harshly critcising others all the time? Her perception of style seem to be very black and white - the good style in her book is very aging granny greyge outfits and the bad is the escort look... well Anna, the black dress example picture of Anna in the video is prime escort look. The classy escort look. No hate towards any escorts, it is a hard job. Our style guru thinks that adding white sneakers to a boring dress is ''spicing up the look''... I mean if she were to only dress herself, why not. But her constant pitches for her ''course'' are annoying.

As for her line, it seems the close out lots are finally arriving! What an accomplishment! But summer is ending and who is going to pay atrociously high prices for summer clothes in August? The black dress looks just like so many dresses you can get anywhere. There's nothing much original about it, but that's what you get with dropship/close out lots.

I can't believe that anyone in their right mind could have bought a single item from this website. How can a banker's wife know so little about business? Even I, a non-business expert, can smell her amateurism miles away. It's embarrassing just to look at.

I don’t think this is contradictory. The raw linen is sourced from Italy and then shipped to Bulgaria (where labor is cheap) to be sewn into dresses.

The real question is where the polyester in her new pleated dresses will be sourced from, since the provenance of the materials seems so important to her.

Exactly! In that sense, it seems fraudulent. I don't see how this linen could cost so much when it doesn't even come from a quality producer. It's literally a scam. There's no traceability for the customers, who don't even know what they're buying. What's more, I need someone to explain the orientation of their "brand" to me, if anyone knows about it, because I don't understand it. Does it specialize in linen? If so, shouldn't the commercial strategy allow for absolute transparency on the provenance of the fabrics?

I like to trust my intuition and I'm absolutely sure this smells like poo.

Anna, cash is not considered an investment class! Maybe you mean CDs? But they're not considered an investment class either, typically just a place to park your money short term if you need more time to arrange for a desirable investment option. Or maybe you mean currencies? Not an investment class either but a trading strategy. Ask your banker husband to explain it to you (I suspect he'll have to start from the very beginning).

While for some countries a small amount of cash in a safe can be useful, no one would hoard a fortune under their bed. Banana has tried to move to the entrepreneur/business advice niche a few times, but the thing is that she just doesn't know a thing about that. For business advice, one needs to have education or practical experience, ideally both. Her business experience is hustling overpriced courses via borderline unethical, certainly questionable marketing.
Her line shows that she has no patience and knowledge about a real business beyond selling PDFs. Who begins selling summer stuff at the end of July? No sane brand. Who adds to their summer item launch in August? Also no sane brand. I can see how her stuff got delayed - she might have bought some white label/close outs but she may have bought them way too late for a proper summer launch so that she gets the best price for the items. Now it is already too late for her to try and find fall/winter items - the best new styles are already gone.
The black dress looks like it is some kind of synthetic - what will Anna say - is it spun by sea turtles from ocean plastic, then hauled by vegan unicorns to the factory?
Even though we don't know how many items of that fabled Italian linen (that was already in Bulgaria, I remember her posting that info) she sells, she must not be realistically getting hundreds of orders per day, her largely unknown brand is no Shein. Anna, you could have saved a bunch of $$ by packing your orders yourself. Paying a fulfillment center with a dubious reputation is not what a prudent business woman would do. I know that packing orders is not the luxe, klaasy millionairess life she wants. Small businesses thrive when the owner puts in the hours.
Anyone who is smart and knows about fashion is better off buying items in their style and size at trusted online retailers or legitimate high end outlets. I have seen a lot of beautiful linen stuff on sale, off 70% from very known brands at certain outlet sites. With the grand discount these items are cheaper than Anna's.
