Things you should text a girlfriend and not post online:

Details on the ring or is it from Wish?

I thought a millionairess would have her own private allotment of beach so her pup could roam freely? Teddy the maltipoo on a $5 leash ☹️

Dear ladies, Anna is not the epitome of affluence. Anyone on a vacation can post this.

Banana is trying so hard to make her off-season vacation appear ahfluent and klaasy when it is really a cheap getaway that is affordable to most people who work in Switzerland. A trip to France isn't automatically millionaire-level expensive.
She's not making any mentions of her ''husband'' on this trip, maybe it is a special ''date'' with a client, who knows. Why does Banana insist on wearing ridiculous hats? the hat doesn't suit her much. At least she still has the swimsuit, the fleamarket must not have gone too well.
The hotel room picture with Ted doesn't scream high end hotel to me - it looks like a normal affordable hotel that most people would be able to afford. It's getting harder for Anna to fake her ahfluence. And people won't be as inclined to buy her expensive courses if she doesn't live the life she says she has all the secrets to.

(Notice how the beach is empty)

At first I thought it could be one of those rather posh 5* resorts that not many people go to... but judging by the state of the beach I am not so sure. Last year I went to a 'peasant' 4* resort in Greece which was absolutely hiving and buzzing, the atmosphere was amazing! Right next to it was a 5* posh resort that was almost empty. It looked boring and sterile. The kind of place I would expect to find Banana :ROFLMAO:

Good day my dear Anna-Bey-Scam-Connaisseurs!

While watching another influencer I hate, I stumbled across this very insightful, nuanced, and frankly slightly discouraging article about online courses produced by influencers.

My favorite quotes:

" Academics, however, don’t always see influencers as the best professors. “Some of [these influencers] do have legitimate training in their field, and some don’t, but they’re able to position themselves as credible experts by using these acceptable boundaries and patterns for communication authenticity,” explains Emily Hund, a research affiliate at the Center on Digital Culture and Society at the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School for Communication."
We're working on this perception of "credible experts" and authenticity! Hint: Anna is neither.

"The tension between the online course industry’s vision of a fully remote, learn-on-demand society and the central principles of liberal arts education, which prioritizes intellectual curiosity and critical, nuanced thinking, does mirror the clashing worldviews of self-employed influencers and those interested in working within traditional corporate or public sectors."

"This is the appeal of the industry as a whole, after all: an à la carte, mix-and-match style of education, where you get to pick professors based on how likable they seem online, and where you get to “cut through the bullshit” and get straight to the part where your life gets better. And everyone knows what this industry considers “the bullshit” part of college: It’s the part where you learn how to think critically, how to explore, how to converse, how to live, how to discern between people interested in you and people who are interested in your money."

Take-away for those that are on the brink of buying Anna Bey's scam course:
  • Just watch her free videos/ consume her free content. There is a great chance that this same content will be recycled in the "course"
  • In our Wiki, some highly estimated member has made a transcript of the course available. Read it (if you can). It's free
  • Follow us! We're not mean, we have some insights and are happy to share our perspective on elegance, eeelleguuuance, and the good (millionaire or not) life
  • NEVER give your money to influencers without qualifications for "degrees" or certificates that are worthless in the real world

Tattle Press Conference: Anna's Instagram story expressing anger towards people who "think they know exactly who she is".

Transcript of Instagram Story rant:

"So over the years I've had tons of people critiquing my content and to some extent, often really misunderstand what I'm trying to say. And you know ladies that, I'm the type of person, where you're not going to see me respond back to these people because I think it's a little bit, like a waste, of my time. Unless, of course, I'm already speaking on the subject and it's kinda tide into my content where I'm just giving my two cents, right? But today's youtube video is actually going to set the record straight on some points where I feel people who don't really, they don't really watch my content or maybe they saw some headlines. Maybe they watched a little bit of some videos, usually they think they know exactly who I am. And what I am about, which I have found that, you know what, you actually don't. So today's youtube video is not only going to be about my thoughts on the quiet luxury and old money aesthetic Trend. But I'm also going to clear up some misconceptions for you."

There is zero misconceptions Anna Bey, those who know, know.
For exemple, I know that if you were truly a millionaire's spoilt wife with a network, you wouldn't stay at the hotel when you go to St Tropez, you would rent a villa or be invited to your friends' one.
But you have clearly proven that you have neither money, nor friends.

Anna "saving you years of mistakes" completely reflects that. "Teaching" isn't telling about one's personal experience, but is constructed on knowledge and research. How much does she knows when she's always asking her audience for advice (remember her video asking advice to wash her cashmeres).

As if there was an actual proper husband 😜

I think dear Banana is getting mad that her scam business is not bringing in the $$$ she wants. I guess she thinks if only there were no critics of her content, she would live the rich life. I bet she had to grind her teeth and not mention the Tattle hayyyters but she forgets that our main criticism of her is that she wants to fleece people and rid them of their hard earned money via her low-value courses. I bet if she were only doing her free Youtube videos with ''10 outfits klaasy laydees need for mid-summer when it is a bit cold'' we Tattlers wouldn't be even noticing her and her lilysilk (or inset another common sponsored product) ad.
Even with her income streams, like her Z-list app she is not doing anything that special to make it really worth the hundreds she charges for her app to the users - I am sure the same sense of community and advice can be found in places online for free (without needing to submit an actual personal ID).
Her attempts at ''events'' for the subscribers are weak - remember the coffee shop meet up last time? Now she was trying to make it look more luxe with the BR event - though I am not sure if the brand was charging a participation OR Anna took it for herself? As some have mentioned in this thread, brands do give out a lot of stuff for free to potential customers and so influencers and the guests the influencer can bring might be the same. Anna did not show what the ladies from her app got at the event - maybe it was a bunch of small samples. I can see why BR did the event - they opened a new location in Zurich and wanted to attract some potential customers. I think Anna is friends or knows someone who works for the brand, so it is not that surprising. Isn't the salon where Anna and dog (with dog snoring on top of her) goes to do her treatments affiliated/run by BR?

Aija (going to St Tropez outside the main season): 'Such a feeling of freedom not knowing where tomorrow takes you. We're booking and planning everything the day or so before'.
Meaning: We look for the cheapest deals and move from one place to the next every day to keep to cost down.

Yeah, a true millionaire's wife :ROFLMAO:

Yes, that's the salon. She's friend with the Russian woman from there (forgot her name) - probably the only reason she is allowed to flaunt the hygienic rules in the salon and have Ted sitting on top of her during a treatment:sick:

It's not rocket science to read people you ScamHead. You have made it easy for all of us to see who you really are. Ughhh her face is like an emoji. Hideous.

She just hinted at a "surprise" in relation to clothing. I don't think it's her own clothing line or brand, she's far too lazy for that type of venture. I'm thinking collaboration.

Something exciting sounds more like a coupon code for an outlet website of unknown designers. Even a collab with a brand would require too much effort for Banana

Of course she's doing something else other than eating and walking the dog! :ROFLMAO: She is providing escorting services to her male companion. You think he took her to France only to look at her pretty surgically altered face? Of course not! He's expecting her to pay some of that back by providing services in the bedroom so to speak.

Why I HATE The Quiet Luxury & Old Money Aesthetic Trends!!! (Hahaha)

Anna is "crowned the Eleghunce Expert" on the internet ... in her own little mind maybe. She talks about the Gen Z obsession with these trends ... but what are they?

Anna gives a brief explanation of these trends and says: but wait! Hasn't she been telling you all these years to wear "timeless" styles and neutrals and no logos? Yes she has but she called it "dressing eleghuntly!" So why is she against it? Well ... she'll tell you in a minute! She waffles about the trend taking off because of TikTok, Succession, and Gwyneth Paltrow's court outfits. Anna doesn't worry about ending up like Gwyneth cuz you can't cause a ski accident if you only ever go when no one's there

Shouldn't the eleghunce community be glad that people are finally bored with logos? Anna: there is no "eleghunce community." It's not going to happen! But there are "multiple of reasons" why Anna isn't fully on board. One of them is that TikTok treats "quiet luxury" as an aesthetic and forgets it's supposed to be about being an eleghunt laydee. Eleghunce is "a lifestyle, a subculture, a personal development tool." I don't think the word subculture means what you think it means.

Anna has been doing eleghunce since 2018 and credits herself for the current old money/quiet luxury trends. Yes she actually says this! Six years ago when a lot of TikTok's current audience were still in primary school they were glued to this granny hooker's social media, no doubt. But she has always been about MODERN eleghunce and keeping her personality. Don't be a stereotype, laydeez! She shares some omg so quirky and relatable pictures of her feeding farm animals and skipping down the street with a balloon during a photoshoot.

Then she talks about there being "different style personalities that exist under the eleghunt style" and of course she was the first one to bring this concept into the eleghunce community. She gives examples of different women that she considers to dress eleghuntly including Iris Apfel, Anna Wintour, and Olivia Palermo. See? They don't dress the same way! This of course leads into a plug for a new "Style Personality Quiz" she's created to build her mailing list. How many goddamn websites does this woman run?!

Then there is lack of context. She plays a montage of her calling things tacky and cheap in old videos - but, laydeez, context! That didn't mean she was calling YOU cheap. Obviously! She doesn't think we "should put disclaimers in everything in our society" because critical thinking is important. The hypocrisy is off the charts! But anyway context and she doesn't really elaborate on that further except to say that TikTok doesn't go into a lot of detail because it's all short form video.

"Wealth obsession!" No wonder Anna dislikes "old money" trends when she hasn't got any money. She talks about School of Affluence and says the reason she spoke about "high society" so much was because she had experienced it (HAHAHAHA) and wanted to give women the "tools" to not embarrass themselves in society. Referencing an infamous scene in Succession where Greg's billionaire family is disgusted at his girlfriend for carrying a Burberry tote. But then Anna got called a gold-digger and she was very sad :( Eleghunce is not about being rich or pretending that you're rich or wanting to be better than everyone else! She references her namesake Anna Delvey. Our dear eleghunt faker would never do anything like film in a hotel and pretend it is her home or carry Hermessas or ... Anyway, be authentic! Quote: "... being pushed left, right, and centre into people's throats."

Anna finishes off babbling about "superiority complex" and if you make eleghunce content please give people a little more CONTEXT. Byeee! Next video is supposedly yet another rehash of "10 Things That Tell You're Old Money" but she won't even remember that in two days' time much less to weeks

She's a mile wide and an inch deep. No depth nor breadth of understanding in the area she calls herself a pioneer and expert. Gen Z looks fabulous out and about in their quiet luxury attire, and she's mad 😠 that they got the advice for free, on Tiktok.

Bless you for watching the whole thing so we don’t have to. I made it half way and I couldn’t take it any longer because it’s equal parts boring and hypocritical. It seems I didn’t miss much by skipping the end.

I’m honestly unsure what she intended the meaning of this video to be, but my genuine take away is:

1 Everyone could get the same fashion advice on tiktok rather from her.
2 I shouldn’t follow other people’s (*AHEM*) stupid rules like not wearing shoes with gold buckles or prints.
3 She’s accidentally debunked her entire purpose by taking credit for starting these trends and then devaluing them.

"I hate old money trends"
"Watch my next video on what says you're old money"

The hypocrisy is real.
