That’s why she needed this fake “I’m on holiday and living my best life” thing. To be able to get pictures, attract more people and could sell her course easily by showing off her fake affluence.

Sidenote: Lauren (LA Way) has been in Monaco almost for 2 months now… I don’t know her anddon’t follow her, just came up with this dress-issue. BTW she does look really pretty (ok some plastic work was done) but all in all she looks like a decent Influencer and businesswoman

I left you yesterday, Y.E.S.T.E.R.D.A.Y., at the third page of this thread and now you are at the 16st, Gosh I missed everything, it like coming home on January 1st after a long trip, in the night, and discovering empty champagne bottles everywhere in the house! Quelle soirée! It was delicious to read you this morning, I am gonna re-read just to put my "like" for all of you. And we have also nice new people who joined us, welcome girls!
Now, Bastine has done her homework. The "repentance" video was filmed in the cheapest room of the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Antibes, not Cannes so I don't think she was in Cannes for a night (prices are divided by half after the closing ceremony of Festival de Cannes, there is still a possibility). But what I am trying to say is that it was an emergency video. She quickly rented the room to film it. But if it is at this hotel that she made her full stay on the Riviera, you have the patent proof that she reserves the cheapest room of a hotel then films the lobby, piscine etc, just to give the "impression". You can find the room (couch, pillow with flowers, lamp design) on Tripadvisor (traveler photos).

I have a theory about the hotel but I’m waiting for her next move to disclose it. She is so tricky and dodgy that it’s better to keep it to myself for now.

This kind of brains cannot be faked! I like to do my research too, which is why I began to suspect Anna/Aija was not altogether honest. And I used to be an "acquaintance" of hers.

Let's take a moment to remember when she framed photos of herself and put it in the Four Seasons bedroom to make people think it was her house.

@aser she doesn't care about Arab culture, except that she uses Arab friends because they see her blond hair and blue eyes as exotic. She uses religion like everything else - at a superficial level.

Oh and I loveeee the “Perfume collection “ questions, we ALL KNOW she only has ONE PERFUME for 10 years!!

I don’t say it’s not classy to have one signature scent but come on, even I, who cannot really take lots of smells, if I should say one that would be the classic YSL Opium, but even I can find tons of lovely perfumes along this line and tend to have lots of different ones I want to buy Guerlain and DIOR Privee (almost did last week) but I just look at my collection (I do have one… ) and I told myself that I should stop buying. Didn’t really use a lot during the lockdown so.. I’m not going to spend money further until I open all my exclusive perfumes lol.

Just a thought. Aija Dahrlingh should do a review about La Mer and La Prairie. Which one is better, which one I should buy… I do have samples but I cannot really decide

Anna Bey - a one woman wrecking ball for the Hermes brand. I didn't think it was possible to cheapen this brand but she's managed it. Anyone want to buy 2 Kelly bags before the price drops?

I have noticed a steady decline in the last year. Her content was interesting before when she was teaching etiquette and elegance but you can't teach affluence. You can teach how to fake it but if you can't back it up with the €€€€€€ then everyone sees you for the fake that you are.

Like I said on a previous thread, Geneva is full of affluent people but they are mostly inconspicuous. The majority of super cars are neutral tones - grey, black, silver etc. A few are ostentatious yes, but I know some really rich people that drive 10 year old Mercedes. Some of my favourite handbags are from Italian brand Furla, they look elegant and are achievable for many women. That is what she needs to teach. How to look elegant everyday even if you don't have the funds to buy designer. She would never run out of content.

Furla is a timeless quality and very classic. I love Coccinelle as well.

I’ve been after the same DIOR privee scent for almost 5 years now, never bought it because I think they are overpriced but now they have small bottles.. the temptation!

I stopped social media long time ago, my happy place is YT recently, I only go on Insta to debunk Aija.
If someone, I never cared about the trends/ hypes, moreover, even if I had the money I wouldn’t buy Birkin/ Kelly now because EVERYONE on YT has a collection and I’m always after the exclusive pieces that I can incorporate in my collection.
That’s why I love shopping towards the end of the sales because I know how cheap the stuff are, plus you can find gems for the fraction of price among the clothes/ makeup.. etc.

Further proof that Aija is off the mark. A lot of smart-looking people (or are they affluent? I don't know because of her lame explanations) buy clothes in a lot of different places including the cheapest ones. Someone mentioned @miss.susannem here. Well, I've been browsing her YouTube channel and she also buys clothes from Shein. Of course, we all know it's not the best quality clothing, but in all ranges there are pieces that can be worth it and fit any budget.

What's worrying about this is not that Aija is making a fool of herself by explaining that in order to look affluent, you need to own a whole bunch of clichés items that will make you look desperate. But all those people who believe in it and who, for the most naive of them, will put themselves in danger to get these things. Imagine the ones who will try to steal money, sell sexual favours, or take out loans for it. Or the ones who will be ashamed to show off their very first car that they paid for with their first wages or summer job. This viper does not imagine the psychological damage she creates around her.
