Despite these modern times, learning how to cook, clean the house and organise house decorations and furniture is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, especially if you are a woman. I may sound sexist about this but in some countries, especially Asian countries, you will be ridiculed like hell if you as a woman is never able to cook even a simple meal or even cook rice. To most potential mothers-in-law (some of them are damn toxic), your corporate and financial success is nothing if you could not even steam rice. What more if you are just a plain sugar-baby or an escort? To most middle-aged and elderly Asian women, if a woman don't even know how to cook and manage the house and she involves herself in sex trade, she is just an irredeemable piece of tit.

That is why in a country I live (Philippines), some ladies are pressured by their mothers to learn to cook besides household general cleaning, even if they don't dream of becoming a plain housewife. When some people finds out that you could not even cook, you will be asked in a taunting manner "You can't even cook? Then what the duck you can feed your husband (or children)?".

Sorry guys if some of our cultural aspects may not sit well with you all, as if kinda' sexist. Sexist and offensive as it may seem but as days/months/years go by, you will understand and appreciate the importance of household management and cooking. A woman can hire a household help if she is busy with her work, but it's not always worth the money, especially if you realise that the household help you have hired is a thief.

A person (regardless of gender) who has greater household management and cooking skills is a person who would be able to navigate thru life and survive.

Thanks! And thanks to all of you guys out here for making me realise how hypocritical Aija (or Anna) is. I initially kinda' liked her because there are some points that I agree on, until I came across her scam, her being featured by Conor Clyne of the Tsar Experience.

I know that some of you already featured Zara and Mango on previous threads. Here is my take at how she trashed those brands.

While I realise that Mango and Zara are not of the same level as Chanel, or Gucci, but in the Philippines, that brand is quite high end to most people, given with the income that most working Filipinos have. What is affordable to the rich and middle class of the Philippines is expensive to the working class ones. So in the end, most working class Filipinos would go for non-branded items sold in the likes of Divisoria or Taytay and they can make those clothes work.

Anna mentioned she hates a 9-5 job. That explains it. In the Philippines, if you happened to be a secretary to the CEO, one of your jobs would be preparing a coffee for your boss besides all the paper works and contacting clients.

I am happy to hear your perspective as an American. We are coming from different countries of different cultural backgrounds, but we both agree to this bottom line: Learn how to cook if you want to have a family or catch a rich guy. After all, the way to a man's heart is thru his stomach hahahaha.

As for using a coffee machine, not gonna lie though, I feel I will be too dumb to use those since I am used to manually preparing a coffee --- like instant coffee, creamer, sugar, hot water and mug.

While I do agree that the likes of Balenciaga chunky sneakers ain't classy, but when it comes to opinion about platform heels, that kinda' raised my eyebrows.

While some platform shoes can be connected to some strippers; however, platform heels should not be equated to anything stripper or sexual.
For those who are watching beauty pageants like Miss Universe, we can see most pageant contestants wear platform heels, if not all. It should be noted that no cheap lady will never ever make it to any kind of beauty pageants and win.

Since Anna mentioned that platform heels are inelegant and associated to strippers, so does that mean that those contestants are cheap and hooker-ish?

Look at these ladies who represented Philippines in Miss Universe. I believe they were trained heavily on how to appear elegant when presenting themselves, how to walk, how to answer bajillion questions. I believe they were trained in one of the finishing schools in the Philippines. They are wearing platforms. They even won a bleeping crown. If these ladies look inelegant at least to Anna Bey's eyes, then Anna must be a bleeping idiot because she never read and observe diligently

I am wondering what the duck Anna has learned in IVP, but there is something lacking about what she is preaching on Youtube. What she is preaching is too subjective because in the end, a lady can wear rag and can still manage to look classy. Not only she is a scammer. She is also culture-dumb and tone-deaf. Anna claimed she traveled the world but obviously never learned about the culture of each of them. It shows in her video how she puts a lot of effort on detailing about Chinese costumes. Now this is what I am cringing about Korea-tards. Sorry for the term. I love Korean stuff --- from food, to fashion sense (eventhough I could not wear those because I am too thicc for Korean clothing), to music, dramas, movies etc. What I am hating are some Koreans who are willing to revise the details of culture between China and Korea in the name of supremacy.

Just for the record, I don't think it's the best example to use beauty pageants as a comparison. This is a very specific contest that the usual women will not likely attend/participate in, also an event that requires a certain attire (sparkling gowns and platform shoes - very open shoes, I may say, to uplift the body and also expose the feet, as this is a visual contest). Here's a more casual example of a platform heel on a petite woman - even though there's nothing casual about the height of the shoe for my poor feet lol

So true! I followed her after I saw her comment on another of Anna's former friends' Mimie pics. She is the epitome of class and true style. She's around Anna's age and looks youthful and happy. From looking at her past posts there are other things that stand out about Lucy:

- shares her Botox and other fillers treatment, does not pretend it's natural
- mixes high and low: always wearing Asos brand and other high street
- has a husband she shows
- beautiful house - that she shows!
- showcases her day to day like parks, picking up flowers from the local flower shop

Her style reminds me of a doll, even in her 30s she does the short skirt and platform heel combo so well that she looks like a grown up version of Freddy My Love, a Youtuber who is gaining weight (sorry had to say) but tries to dress like a 10 year old girl still.

I don’t aim for men’s hearts. There is another body part I am more interested in.
I also go for younger guys who can cook and have a nice chest and tight butt. Tastes differ.

If you want the heart, try getting it through the stomach. If you still can’t reach it then ask a surgeon to help . Where we agree is if you want the traditional route of marriage and children, knowing how to cook makes a huge difference. It ain’t for me but I know a former topless dancer with naked photos all over the internet doesn’t sound like someone I’d let my nephews marry. American middle class aunts are pretty laid back, not like the mother in crazy rich Asians but even we have standards. Anna crosses too many lines.

Another thing that raised my brows is the part of Anna Bey's elegance cheat sheet, because I believe this is strongly subjective according to her point-of-view, though not gonna lie, I am quite upset that purple was included as colors can make anyone look cheap as that is my favorite color. Deep purple or violet to be exact. It is widely known that purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic.
