Seeing Lina's stories I remembered about Aija's other "friend", when she moved to Geneva, she used to post stories constantly with Lina and this other Iranian girl also from Geneva, that was the first month or two after she moved there and then she was gone from her stories. Aija's instagram @schoolofaffluence used to follow her, but now only @annabey follows her.
Also that Brianna girl has Instagram, Aija promoted her on her stories, her photos look real and down to earth rather like Aija whose are very tacky, artificial and nowhere real

They probably met under cordial circumstances through an acquaintance. Lina felt bad for the new girl in town and took Anna under her wing. She didn't think Anna would be a long term commitment, or she assumed Anna was harmless and wouldn't be a big burden to invite places. But then Anna latched onto her and her friend group, and didn't bother to try to make any new friends.

And once Anna found out Lina was a Hadid, she wasn't going anywhere.

Lina is constantly posting on social media and calls everyone her BFF, so it probably meant nothing when she did it with Anna.

When Lina found out what kind of business Anna ran, she probably thought it was hilarious considering Anna had to latch onto her, and could afford nothing more than Louis Vuitton sneakers. She probably decided to watch how Anna was going to manage a career of lies, and when the tea started getting juicier, she wanted to fuel the fire by letting Anna use some of her clothing and living spaces.

After the whole Instagram privatization and renaming drama, Lina and Kareem (and Bassam) realized that Anna's career became too volatile and cringey to be around. Lina is probably willing to go out to lunch alone with Anna if she begs and sends funeral flowers, but not invite her to intimate birthday get togethers where only your real friends are allowed.

I've had friends/acquaintances where we'd still hang out and get lunch with them because we'd been friends for 1-2 years, but their reputation was too bad to bring around "cool" people or friends who didn't like them/thought they were weird.

Sometimes, you had to make a decision on whether or not you should invite the friend to a party/go out, and at best suffer the embarrassment of having been acquainted with them, or just go out without telling them, having a good night, not posting about it, and possibly reaping their wrath later, or deliberately posting about it so they know that you no longer want them to sit with you.

I googled "The A List" since the most obviously explanation to me was that possibly it has been trademarked already so was not available and the maybe doing it within Switzerland trademarks worked (small place, no conflict with other companies with the same name).

This is the first thing that came up in my google search. Told you she watches a lot of tv and videos to get her character roles and speech down pat! A teenage movie...Ugh, girl you really need to grow up.

Unless (and this might explain why Anna is still fumbling for cash and Lina has not be around her much), she actually pays Lina for the "PR" opportunities (ie, borrowing clothes, bags, photo opportunities). Not any different from paying models in her other pics or hotels to use their backdrops. Also a bit of flattery on Lina's part: she gets to be "model" for Anna like her cousins. Maybe a few "sponsored" BFF tags. It's Anna= Hustler/ Wannabe and Lina= Ego. You know everything is transactional in the social media (YouTube and Instagram) world's. This is so true. Just think Yolanda Hadid and David Foster and if you ever watched her season in Real Housewives, she is just the epitome of a perfect wife. She keeps it sexy and exciting for David plus she's such a good homemaker! What happened when she got sick? David was there for some months but after some time, they decided to divorce, David said it's not what he signed up for and now he is with someone 30+ years younger than him Katherine McPhee.

Not because she finally got herself married means she will remain married, especially she really doesn't have anything to bring to the table.
