Unfortunately, the younger the person is when they are first exposed to these “stereotypical standards of beauty” (at school/ on TV/ in fashion magazines), the deeper the insecurities become which then means the more drastic measures (surgeries) they are willing to take as soon as they have the means (finances).

She’s probably didn’t grow up with enough role models (real or fictitious) that looked like her (with similar features). Otherwise, I don’t think she would’ve been as eager to change her nose, especially when it actually did look better (fit her face better) BEFORE.

I also think that this level-up culture/ sugar dating/ escorting is making women desperate for a “high-value man”. It’s making a lot of women conclude: “If only I looked like this, X, then I would easily to able to attract that, Y”. And instead of investing in themselves in other ways, they “invest” in changing their looks for a chance at “securing the bag” (finding a provider man).

I doubt that the surgeries erase their insecurities.. if anything, I think it just makes them more self conscious. Hence the reason why people like Aija go overboard on the fillers, extreme diets, non-stop medical grade facials, etc. They’re never 100% comfortable in their own skin.

I agree plastic surgeries seem like a vicious cycle. Many start with insecurities and end up with even more and going overboard. They seem to live in the world of photoshopping and measure themselves up to some extremely unrealistic standards of perfection!

Also agree with not changing one’s face and body to follow the trends. I have been really sick of Kim K’s body and style, sorry.

She filmed a birthday video in the Maldives last year .The man who accompanied her had a west African accent .Was he her sponsor , an SD, a boyfriend, a fiancé, a brother , a cousin , an uncle , a chaperon , a best friend , a colleague ?Perhaps he dumped her and she had to reinvent her nose to catch the eyes of a new sponsor in Dubai .With a new nose she can now pretend to have some European or Indian ancestry .Some African women like the idea of having mixed ancestry.It makes them feel more desirable , more confident.Exotic looking is better than African looking in their eyes .
As you said , competition is fierce in Nigeria .And I can add that “high caliber “ African men tend to look for a very specific package: pedigree, degree , looks and a “compatible “ethnical background.They are very classist.The 1k copy paste course from Anna School of flatulence will never give someone the codes to break into such a classist circle ...

@leilaer I don't know much about Temi, just that she's got a cute style and her father is a billionaire. I think it is important to realise when talking about wealth that it is not all concentrated in Europe and that rich men are found all over the world. So to hack at your body and style to satisfy a 40 year old failed Russian scammer like Anna Bey, is probably not a smart idea.

I can't imagine travelling to the Maldives with a platonic male friend or cousin, so gonna guess it was a sponsored trip by an older man. As we all know, it's not cute to "tag the sponsor" especially when old or ugly 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

That wig is TERRIBLE! I thought the other person was exaggerating, but honestly, she needs to burn it. And I'm so confused, is that her swimming around the 4 minute mark, but with a different hairstyle? Is that her own hair? She took the wig off to swim? Whaaaa????

Around the 3 minute mark a man (I think) appears, but I guess not the same guy filming her. How many people were on this trip?

I'm not getting elegance, I'm getting budget trip booked on some discount travel site.

P.S. Her nose was not bad looking, I actually know many non-black people with noses like that. Her new face looks like a Russian instawhore dipped in chocolate glaze. She even changed her accent.

Can I message you if ever I need you to investigate someone for me? Haha. In Europe it is so hard to find out because of the privacy laws, but it happens anyway. I love gossiping sometimes but I like my privacy. I never reveal too much of my personal life on the internet.
