There is a FB page setup for disgruntled buyers who never received their orders that wer placed back in September. People commenting saying about how she promised and promised refunds or said a replacement product was resent (never was). Supposedly the family now messaging people privately to take their comments down as she is in hospital. She said she was sent death threats and people posted pictures of her children but all I see is women that are pissed off they have parted with money in hard times and have been fobbed off when contacting the seller.

Here, what's happening round Newry. That wee woman Shannon who ran/runs a boutique..... she was getting death threats over not sending clothes to people 🙈
They were mystery boxes with products left over from when her shop closed early this year. She went off social media altogether then and rumours went around of mental health issues etc- but that could've been a ploy as well as she owed a fortune to staff, for rent, to suppliers etc.
She reappeared at the start of Sept with this amazing deal but now it appears no boxes were ever sent and warnings/rants appeared on local buy & sell pages and mums groups. Her statement on insta this morning is weird- it's written in third party then in first person in parts, so it appears she's written it and trying to make it look like her family or whoever has put out this statement as she's 'seriously ill in hospital '

I noticed that about the statement, could be a number of possibilities. I know these businesses rely on social media but that comes at a price too, there is really no logical reason why a business, brand, influencer needs to address personal issues.
Sell, deliver, rinse and repeat. I wouldn't want to walk into my local boutiques and hear anything like this.
Thats twice in as many weeks business owners have acknowledged they're not running the show and failings have been blamed on others.
Something is badly wrong when orders aren't fulfilled but I wouldn't expect anyone to issue threats over it. Again rather big statements. Can understand the avoidance though especially if a solution seems like an impossibility.

Looks to me that she was trying to get off with not following through on orders and has been caught out. Over 300 members in the “scammed by Shannon Bennet” fb group.
Think the mental health card is pulled out very quick.

I'd never dismiss anyone struggling, this stood out.

"We are a small business and if this was ie Amazon Asos etc, they could have been put into administration and all case closed however since this is a small business people have since sent death threats, made group chats posted pictures of my children and threatened my home over not receiving orders"

# used. #suicideawareness

It was a very odd statement. Somewhat familiar statement at this point. You have to wonder who these people have looking after them.
I think it's fair to assume the statement was written by the lady in question.
Refunds starting tomorrow morning and customers will also receive a "replacement parcel"

I'm sorry I know its an awful approach for me to take but no customer is responsible for the mental health of a store owner. They have no duty of care, it's a faceless e commerce transaction, they should receive their goods and if they don't customer service should be there to rectify it.

Indeed. But it would appear both Andy and this woman have left their businesses in the hands of others who don't issue refunds or let the CEO know of any major issues and both are very busy with other projects.
The only reason either of them hasn't taken the obvious route is because they'd be disqualified.

I read the statement. Thankfully, she has taken responsibility and issues. But there is alot of BS in it.
At what point did she realise there was an issue? When did she start taking action?
What business owner doesn't know what's going on? Who leaves there business in the hands if an employee?
Strange. I guess we'll never know, its not our business to know either but the use of those # shut down any criticism or questions. A very immature response from a CEO.

Her 'helpers' are herself and her husband- so I'm not sure who she's throwing under the bus here. The boxes were made up of leftover stock she had in her home. Is she saying she hired people to come in and box up maybe a few hundred orders? The 'deals' went out a few times over the month of September so she wouldn't have been under pressure to complete them, and she would surely have noticed if the stock pile wasn't going down?
It just doesn't add up. Time will tell if she makes good on her promises. But her past record isn't great.

No excuse- but I think she's 'only' 23-24?

I don't think suicide awareness needed to be added to a post about addressing a businesses failings and if there have been death threats the PSNI should be handling that, that's very serious.
This thread is confusing me! Who are you guys talking about and how is it related to Andy???
Betty. A business owner in Newry who has taken a leaf out of Andys playbook. When things go wrong blame others. Sorry I know it was me who derailed the thread.

I know you can put a front on, so don’t come at me
But she ( Shannon Bennett ) was on tik tok every day talking about where in the UK she was delivering pets to and what boat she was getting and how many friends she had and how many hours she worked etc
Screen shots of texts / snaps etc from all her supporters
She also did a video on suicide and to phone her if you felt suicidal etc etc a few weeks ago
She def doesn’t come across as a struggling girl

And people aren't stupid. That's why they setup that FB page. If it wasn't setup, would she of resolved the issues. She's now playing the victim card.
While she is sitting with the customers money, if she went into bankruptcy, her personal finances would not be touched to pay her debts. Unfortunately that is an advantage of going PLC.
The fb page is the only reason she's doing the right thing. She wasn't going to escape this that easily.

The down low from someone in the know. Andy is a massive fan of the bolivian, it all adds up when you watch back, 3am gym, ego rants, general cra cra. His missus left because she had finally enough of people arriving at house looking for money back, payments! Finally the baliffs arrived at the door of that young lad he had working for him, his parents house actually, because Andy got him to open a gambling account under his name and blew everything into the red. He is on the way out!

It’s been more than obvious that he’s a huge coke fiend.
