If there's only 3 of you, and you don't want to throw food away on Thanksgiving, then why not just cook a smaller meal? I usually cook for 3, sometimes 4 or 5, and occasionally up to 10-12 people. I adjust the amount of food accordingly, it's common sense, surely? And seeing as Alice is destitute, unable to work and is on the verge of homelessness, you'd think she would refrain from wasting cash on takeaways 🙄

Wingstop sells crap. I will never eat their food again. My family got food poisoning from their wings. Called them, they ignored us until the health department paid them a visit when we lodged a complaint. Then they had the audacity to send us a gift card for more of their food. Like did they really think after that weekend of projectile vomit, and related symptoms of food poisoning, anyone of us ever wanted to see their food again, let alone eat it? Blech.

Yeah for sure, I've cooked Thanksgiving for just two before, I just scale way down, get a small turkey crown and then use any leftovers for sandwiches/another meal in the next few days.

But nah this is the quickest option to get them fed and then she can return to her pit to passive aggressively like Instagram posts and try and recruit new monkeys on Bluesky.

Catch up as always. How about telling them that it’s that or nothing. I had to do that when mine was little as I didn’t have a pot to piss in (Sorry non-uk folk, it means being a lot poorer than Alice)

Now a grown up, amazing cook as we always did it together, great with all foods. Win.

Alice doesn't cook. No friends to invite them to Thanksgiving or single friends with kids getting together and everyone bringing a dish Wow! How sad that after over 15 years in California she doesn't have a great group of friends. Look at Jen Garner. She has some really strong female friendships and would create a great dinner for her kids even if no one else came and probably invite people to stop by.

Let's face the facts. Since she has never done any kind of holiday cooking or family cooking, I say it doesn't really matter then. Give the kids what they want for takeout. She didn't have to cook turkey, but a great home-cooked meal of any type would have been a nice gesture. But she doesn't cook and takeout is what they always do. So the kids don't care. I believe her when she says that.

They probably do but this is what they are lumbered with. Back when IG and Gloria were around they would have got a proper meal with all the trimmings.

I clicked on her Cameo link and got a warning that it was a spam site. She can't even link to the Cameo site properly lol. The only thing she is good at, is abuse. What a legacy.

There are lots of charities offering Thanksgiving meals. No need to cook Alice. Go to the local soup kitchen!
